Still the same finished upgrading back in mid 2025 thinking about buying a new pair of headphones possibly
>>
Does anyone have a good solution for cable management when your table is in the middle of the room facing out toward the hall? Right now I have a power strip at the side, along with my desktop, but there's still an ethernet and the power strip's plug that need to go along the floor over to the wall.
I really wish there were a neater solution that didn't require cutting holes in the middle of my hardwood flooring (and my oriental rug too)
>>

>thinking about buying a new pair of headphones possibly
What headphones are you thinking about/what is your budget? So many great headphones lately for dirt cheap. My wife got a HiFiman Edition XS about a year ago for 220 to replace her frankly godawful HD6XX. Honestly so nice I'm not sure getting something like my HD800S makes sense anymore unless you absolutely need the soundstage >>107788298

Yeah, mount the cabling under the table with clips and run them to a back corner, then wrap the cables and run them down the backside of the leg and once it hits the floor put them in a cable raceway/wire mold/wire channel and out to somewhere out of sight to run into a power strip.

Personally I have a big surge protector mounted to the underside of my desk with heavy duty mounting tape then everything runs to it under the table and the single cable runs down the back left corner of my desk and to my UPS.

Nothing about their audio equipment is good. They have one decent mouse for the price, the wired viper mini. Everything else is overpriced and overweight. Their headsets are quite possibly the worst quality-to-price on the market as are their keyboards. But whatever makes you happy.

Those are the good mice, weight mod if you want lighter.
Even the Viper Mini is heavy for a "light" marketed mouse.
>>
>>107789533
The viper mini is only good because of its cost. There are at least 30 other mice that are cheaper, lighter, have a better sensor, and lower click latency than everything in Razer's product stack (except the viper mini which is a cost leader).

I would have needed to replace my 5600X so I could fully use a higher end card, upgraded my power supply (9070 XT wants 750w, 9060 XT 16 GB wants 450w) and probably bought a new monitor since I'm still on 1080p for that to make sense.

Plus the Gigabyte 9060 XT 16 GB I got was €389 on the black friday sales. Cheapest 9070 XT here is €700... Nvidia cards are even more expensive.

Might as well have built a brand new rig at that point which would require a little more than "a bit" of savings.

The mouse is a GWolves Fenrir Asym. It is the perfect fingertip mouse which weighs 21 grams with the sapphire skates I have on it. I have a vertical mouse on the left side there for browsing. I also have a mechanical numpad under the desk magnetized if I need it for the little bit of work I do at this desk or if I need macros that aren't better served by the streamdeck (which is typically superior to a numpad given how deeply it can hook into CAD with sophisticated application level macros). My home office has a fullsize mechanical keyboard though with Aqua King v3 switches.
Thanks though anon. I'm pretty happy with my setup right now.
