>>107786260What does 10 core GPU actually means ????
>>107786260best mini pc at that price that you can buy.
>>107786260>pic from google images>no real pic>no mention of the price>i boughtcome on Vikram you can do better.
>>107786260Soldered bullshitDon't buy unless gay and filthy rich
>>107786260great. i got the 24gb model. does everything i need. get the duck base off aliexpress.
>>107786331... until your ram chips fail after 3 years. Is the ssd soldered too ?
>>107786371ram will be fineand actually no the ssd is not soldered on. there is a m.2 like slot its in
>>107786324It's a screenshot from Apple's website, I haven't received the device yet.
Macos is dogshit
>>107786383hmm....Is there a 128gb model ?
>>107786327>filthy richlol
>>107786651>breaks>buy a new onelolLMAO even
>>107786331>duck baseThis is a great suggestion, thanks anon!
>>107786756At least when it breaks, it won't burn your whole house down like all it's chinkshit competitors.
>>107786260You're stuck with macOS so I hope you've used it recently and know what you're getting yourself into.I also hope you have a high DPI monitor, and by high DPI I mean 200%+. macOS still doesn't really support fractional scaling, so my 4K 32" monitor that needs 125% scaling looks great under Windows and Linux but blurry under macOS. My 1440p 27" 100% monitor doesn't look great either. Basically macOS is designed solely for 200%+ displays and looks like shit on anything else.I have an M1 Macbook for comfy shitposting needs, in fact I'm writing this on it right now. But I don't think I would have any use whatsoever for a Mac desktop right now. If you gave me a Mac Mini (or even a high end Studio) for free, I would have to sell it and buy something else.
>>107786909also pick up a magic trackpad. i use it more than i do my mouse. thats all the apple shilling i have.

>>107787192we're talk about an m4 you idiot. why are you such an incompetent schizo?
>>107786987betterdisplay fixes this.
im thinking about getting one of these soon, i have an m4 mba im really happy with but i want a more powerful desktop equivalentspecifically im thinking of speccing out the m4 pro mini but sticking with the 24gb of ram and 512gb ssd, i dont need that much space and i dont run a lot of stuff parallel but its like $1600 compared to the more economical base spec mini, idk if another $1000+ for a bit more cpu and double the gpumy uses would benefit from it sure, but this near base spec 10c/10c/16gb/512gb m4 mba is doing what i want fineis "better" but the same really worth a grand, idkanyone whos got an m4 pro based mini or mbp have anything to reference? is it that much of a leap over the regular m4?
>>107787448gpu cores double. also you need to look at the performance/efficiency core split--not all cores are the same.
I got one the other week to use as a dedicated vst (sd3) machineshould be better than my 10 year old thinkpad at least
>>107787448if youre not doing a lot of stuff at the same time and its just one more intensive application id just get the base specced model, the performance jump is there but its much more suited to multitasking or heavy multicore workloads
>>107786260It's amazing. I also have 1. Its my only computer. Get Brave and don't use Safari. Safari lags for some reason
>>107788174but i like safari, it lets me thanos snap shit off websites
I bought one of these two weeks ago. It's pretty great. Played through Hollow Knight on it and am about to start Silksong. Don't like that the fn key on my keyboard is effectively dead with it and I had to download some programs to fix some other keyboard shit and mouse stuff. Been contemplating selling my main rig (9070xt, 7800x3D, 64GB RAM) and just buying a mini pro with 48 gigs of ram and throwing in the towel on most gaming.
>>107788309this is actually what i (>>107787448) did, i bought a macbook air because i wanted a laptop with good battery life and it didnt need to do a whole lot moreand i just fell in love with having a computer that feels simple and does what i tell it to dothis comes at many obvious compromises and theres stuff i wish the mac had which windows does havei found it to be easier and found myself happier to simply let some stuff remain out of reachnot impossible, theres ways for me to say, play gta IV on this, but id rather just give that up entirely than use windows or really just a modern desktop ever againi sold my titan, 32gb of ddr4, all of my big nvme ssds, my cpu and 4k monitori turned the primary PC into something funny, it now has an intel 300T and a gt 1010 with 8gb of 2400mhz ddr4, it seemed like a funny way to waste ~$120 of my sold components profit, i havent even turned it on or anything because even if that box gets dedicated to playing trackmania sunrise i just dont want to deal with windows 10 ever again
>>107788270How does this work exactly? What are the distracting items?
>>107786260You'll find out soon.
>>107788882its like an adblocker plugin element selector where you can pick certain parts of a website and disable them, except a little more fuzzyfor example i block the youtube shorts rows from appearing on the home page from youtubeits just built into the browser, paired with ublock origin i dont see any youtube ads at all, without youtube later blocking my access to videos either, and then with the combination of the ublock origin element picker and the built in safari "hide distracting items" i just get rid of bullshit i dont want to seeits nice that its built in, adblockers can do it but this seems to be a bit more refined in the way it works because it knows what the total element is rather than just the specific lines of css or whatever
>>107786311
>>107788981different architecture. they aren't equivalent.
a ripoff for the moneyin b4 indian dagame control department
>>107789064dont forget one of these comes with windows which is useless
>>107786260>16GB Unified memoryWhy any less than 128? I would aim for a used 256+ system because I don't want to over fuckinf pay for crApple to do cheap AI.
>>107789239consider how shit w11 is, then imagine if it were 5X worse, and 5X as expensive.that's the steaming heap of pajeet shit that is crapple pajeetOS, running on its own custom tailored specially designed first party apploo hardwarethese curryniggers can't even update their own pajeetOS on their own 100% in house 100% custom designed currybooks without bricking themnow imagine if these street shitters released their curryniggerOS to run on completely unsupported hardware with drivers made by onions boy hobbyists, that's pajeetintoshmacos is the biggest heap of currynigger shit in the history of operating systems, and releasing it on PC would finally expose this curryniggerOS to the world for the steaming heap of pajeet shit that it is
>>107786260what an organic thread guys!totally genuine interest and not marketing or bots.
>>107786260>Just bought>How are these? Are you fucking retarded? Ask first then buy you idiot.
>>107786260kys shill
>>107786260I've been thinking of a mac mini but really find no need. I still use my M1 mpb for most of my computing needs and I got gayming pc that I use solely for that purpose. MPB is still running perfectly, might grab M5 mba when those drop or just wait even longer.Workflow wise I'd recommend aerospace if you like TWMs. Someone recommended the separate trackpad and it's good but most of the time i use "homerow" but mouseless seems decent too. Also have mouse emul setup through karabiner which is good for stuff like hyper/meh stuff too.
>>107786260I like mine although it wasn’t cheap after the RAM and SSD upgrades
>>107786260how do threads like this keep popping up?> I just bought X> what is X likeIf you're old enough to have money, you should have learned to ask questions BEFORE you buy stuff, not after. Is this what being retarded is like?
>>107791762>>107792362>>107794706>marketing or bots>seething because I asked a questionFuck off.
>>107786260have fun connecting it to a non apple display or non apple mousegreat specs but if you're not completing it with apple peripherals be prepared to download greedy ass paid software to fix very small issues apple refuses to fix to keep you boxed in to their walled garden
>>107796494>plug into monitor from 2006>it just works>plug into regular mouse>scrolling is weird and click drag sensitivity is offfair on the mouse, but i havent had any issues with displays
>>107795134Ok
>>107796494Betterdisplay works fantastic at fixing this. Stop parroting shit Linux retards that can't even make a halfway decent looking or functional rice say about Mac.
