That would be the 5800X3D/5700X3D
That would be the 5600x/5600
3000 series is first gen chiplets. i5 2500 is 2nd gen so 2nd gen chiplets would be 5000 series aka 5600.
i got the 3700x because ps5/xbox specs had just leaked and they had 8 core cpus. 3600 can get flamed by console kids
>>107786915already obsolete for gaming and multicoregood for browsing facebook i suppose
>>107787011the 3000 series chipsets were zen 2 (well the 3600 and up). zen 1 was 1000 series and zen+ was 2000 series
I’m still using a ryzen 5 2600x on my main rig and an i5 2500k on my htpc AMA
>>107786915No. i5 2500 is when intel stagnated for nearly a decade, so i5 was still "relevant". AMD's Ryzen continued to pump double digit IPC with real increase in core, latency, cache, etc. So with no stagnation, the old 1600s wont be remembered fondly. People confuse stagnation with greatness because they want to continue to justify the product they paid with at the expense of progress in technology. Its such a shitty feeling to have, to bask in the lack of innovation. This stagnation caused the downfall of Intel.
>>107787075Why haven't you upgraded to another AM4 CPU before you get priced out?t. just upgraded my 2600 to 5800X
>>107787181I don’t really feel like itnext question
>>107787034I was going to write a extremely long controversial post but then I decided that you are right.
>>107787181>Why haven't you upgraded to another AM4 CPU before you get priced out?Because you are panic buying and we all know this shit will go back to normal have you guys already forgot about crypto?
>>107787027>already obsoleteSo it's exactly like the poorfag cope cpu.>>107787139The last 4C4T i5 was still leagues stronger and more performant than the 2500, retard.
