Would you trust in a company that doesn't understand the meaning of "%"? Hello.

Assume it's gay, fake and a gay fake until (You) personally hold it in your hands and can verify the claims. Then continue to assume the above until enough other people also confirm your findings.

If it is was a publicly traded company i would be almost convinced is some bullshit like Theranos, but is a private company.
Name of the company is Donut, the ceo is a lardass and they dont say what exact chemistry is being used on it.
I mean i want it to be true but is just too good to be true.

Time for that turtle looking motherfucker to turn it into a video on future battery tech.

I watched some 20m+ vid on their youtube channel and all it does is mention some bullshit unknown partner companies and no mention of any independant testing anywhere, or patents, or anything that would substantiate value, + a lot of pictures and renders of literal black boxes.

Im not sure what the scam is tho. How are they making money off this

Private investors.
>>
>>107788549
All start ups are private companies because that makes easier to bullshit and use obscure financing.
Their goal is being acquired (aka being a PITA for larger companies) or reach the IPO with enough smoke and mirrors to sell out the shares at the high pressure before its value is too low and ending as penny stock.

Private companies lie even more to atract future investors when public trading starts
Publicly traded companies cannot lie at the magnitude private companies can
They still lie but not as much as private company that plans to go public does.

The last time Europe came out with "game changing" battery technology, it was all a scam, with investors losing $7B+.

This one is also a scam, and will scam investors out of billions as well.

If battery technology is not coming out of China, then assume it's 100% a scam.

Toyota had solid state lithium for a while. Claim they've cracked scaling it, and it'll be in vehicles 2028 ish... They seem reliable....

Toyota claimed they were working on a solid state battery ever since 2010. Every year they say they have a "working prototype". You can go back to as early as 2019 for them saying they have it, and will show case it at the Tokyo Olympics (didn't). Every year since then, they say "next year".

Toyota works on the same Elon timeline of the Tesla Roadster coming out in 2017.

>>107791383
I based the graphene battery claim on the idea that a solid state and uses no Rare Earth materials. Also that it has a near instantaneous charge rate. All of those are also benefits of graphene batteries which are basically carbon capacitors with massive capacity. I'm dubious as to these guys have been the ones to figure it out, you can easily build a graphene battery yourself on the bench but scaling to production and having it survive daily use is the real problem
>>
>>107791528
A carbon based battery at least wouldn't create a metal fire that you can't put out because it doesn't use oxygen. But you're correct anything that can store energy is going to be inherently dangerous at some level
>>107791431
New battery technology has been right around the corner literally forever. If they actually come up with a truly improved Next Generation battery it would be massive news on the order of room temperature superconductor.

>>

there's been news about a new revolutionary battery tech once every 6-12 months going as far back as 2000 - that I remember. We got nothing new since, except maybe Gallium nitride chargers but that's not battery related. Even Lithium-Ion is 90s tech.
>>
>>107800630
>that are impossible to scale
How can batteries be impossible to scale? If you can make a small battery, you can just put lots of those in series & parallel.
>>
>>107800734
you need to do it fast and cost effectively
if you need the equivalent of a tsmc plant to make some batteries that cost thousands theres no point
