I'm all for btfoing itoddlers, but this is Logitech's fault. Requiring certificates to run software is a good thing for normalfags.
>>107791008> Logitech's Logi Options+ app stopped working on macOS after its Apple Developer ID certificate expired on January 6, 2026, leaving mice like the MX Master stuck in basic mode with frozen purple screens. Windows XP doesn't have this problem. I can go to any random website and download all the EXE files I want, and run them, easily and comfortably, without having to worry about stupid security theatre issues like expired "certificates" ......LOL!!!!!!!!!!Imagine using macOS, where the software barely works, and all your devices like mice and keyboards suddenly stop working. Then you have to wait for some obsolete European company to scramble to get Xcode, or whatever it's called, updated and working, just so they can push a fix. Hope they paid their annual $999 Developer Premium just for the privilege of being able to upload their fake program to the Apple Play Store.
>>107791036>Requiring certificates to run software is a good thing for normalfags.not really. it's a false sense of security. signing certificates get stolen all of the time. the need to trust whatever key that is given to you regardless of who controls it has never been a solid solution for solving integrity problems. it makes retards feel comfortable. that's it.
ah i was wondering what happened today, ive always thought that logi's software as fucking malware. why does it need to be connected this way just to process gestures and binds?
