Anyone that has anything but absolute contempt for bluetooth needs to be gassed.

No, it's this.
Must be responsible for 99% of broken electronics.

>>
>>107795120
my bluetooth iems last 8 hours, are you saying that you can come up with an equivalent technology that makes them last more?
>>
>>107795618

>>
>>107795120
Wut?
My BT headphones last 30+ hours on a single charge and my phone all day sending music through them.
What kinda outdated crap are you using?
>>
>>107796863
Everything BT related is outdated unless you bought something very new with the LC3 codec.
BT is a shit technology that still changes shit every 3 years because they're inept at implementing something that has been solved for decades.

Battery is not a problem but handling different devices (auto-joining, no ability to drop connection from hardware side, etc) is the real issue with it. China already invented a better version called Nearlink and their devices use it.
>>
It's a low latency, low power, always on, short range type of connection, like some virtual wire focused on interactivity rather than throughput. It works. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it didn't in the early days, but recent revisions have always worked perfectly for me.

ESPNOW is better and free

I have a pair of Sony over-ears connected to my PC.
The PC is in a closet out in the hallway. Never have any problems with connection.

Yeah intel's idea of calling it a radiowire makes more sense for the functionality abd sounds better.

It hasn't been a problem since 2005.
>>
>>107795555
That means something is malfunctioning or you're in the most electromagnetically noisy environment on the planet. BT range isn't great but it's also not close to being that bad.
>>
>>107799862
For me BT range has been phenomenal
Leave my phone and can go behind metal gates and 2 ton machinery all blocking LOS of my phone, not even a studder.

There has been one time BT ever gave me an issue and it was when I had earbuds on working in the yard and I got some cut outs. Took my phone out and cycled BT on and off and put it back in my pocket and it never happened again

You wouldnt believe what i had to do to get them back from him
