I looooove getting rejection emails and looking up the people that rejected me on LinkedIn. So far, I found these “talent acquisition “””specialists”””” rejecting me for software developer roles have a background in art studies, photography, English literature and fashion design. Boy, oh boy, they sure are “””specialists””” in seeking talents when they are qualified and know what they’re looking for!

>>
>>107803936
Nigga, are you 19 years old? Bitch jobs like that are the hardest to get, because everyone on the planet applies for them. I never heard back from Burger King in 2010 and wanted to kill myself, but I understand now that they never got back to me because they just picked a couple of application forms at random and hired those people. Skills are irrelevant for jobs like this.

Literally work at an AI startup with a skill set so niche that they really can't get rid of me without causing themselves a huge headache and rehiring somebody that costs even more.

I work at an AI startup and we have this employee with a niche skillset, but he is underperforming and slacking to our expectations because he thinks he is unreplacable and it would cost more to hire somebody else. Should I outsource his job to India and buy like two, maybe three, employees for the price of one?

It is built by PROTESTANTS, who figuratively enshrine abuse of poors and rent-seeking behaviour by literally including it in their version of the Bible.

How many jobs are you supposed to apply to before you get an interview now? I've been applying to jobs daily for a month now and I haven't gotten one response yet. And this is with 13 YoE in web dev. Back in the mid 2010s I would get multiple interviews within a week of starting a job search and that was when I had only a couple years of experience.

This is a bit unusual, but I hear the US merchant navy is absolutely desperate for sailors. You have to go through their academy, and then in the job you spend 6 months at sea, but pay is $180k a year.

I'm applying to any on-site job I see that I'm qualified for that's in the territory of the US, avoiding large corporations and remote jobs because I know those are too competitive to even try for anymore. I'm also avoiding jobs in high cost of living cities like NY, SF and Seattle. But honestly there are barely even any jobs that fit my qualifications anymore, so I'm only able to apply to like 3-4 jobs a day.

protestants are really jews most beloved golem. I have extreme disdain for most forms of christianity and all of protestants. so much so that it would be preferable for christianity to just get completely torn down, as the original morality and ethic (which was profoundly antijew) has been forgotten to the point of irrecoverability

It absolutely does not. I live in a 1500 sq ft house by myself in a peaceful low-crime 80% white town right now. If I had to move to a HCOL city, I would have to live in some shitty cramped apartment and live paycheck to paycheck, even on a 6 figure salary.

It also doesn't make up for the fact that you're living in a multicultural crime infested leftist shithole, no matter how much money you have. I've lived in both SF and NYC before and the experience was miserable.

>>

The suburbs of those cities are the most expensive places on earth to live in. I live in a suburb of a small city in the south and bought my house for $250k at the peak of the real estate bubble a few years ago. The same house in an equivalent suburb of NY or SF would cost $1-2 million. Maybe even more since I don't think there are many 80+% white suburbs left in any major metropolitan area of the US anymore.

I asked my uncle years ago if he could get me a position at the factory he works at, and he told me to go to school instead. "You're too smart for this line of work. You'll make way more money doing IT stuff, and you won't break your back in the process. You'll be the next Bill Gates!" Fast forward 8 years and I'm still a miserable unemployed faggot, only now I have a piece of paper that's supposed to be valuable except everyone else has one now as well. Meanwhile my nephew who was considered a bit of a retard now works alongside my uncle making $48/hour with matching retirement and goes on constant vacations/hunting trips to Africa. A. The difference in pay doesn’t come close to the making up for the difference in cost. Jobs with multiple locations I’ve applied to will be like $135,000 for NY position $115,000 for Indianapolis. That $20k does not make up for the difference in costs at all. My current comfy house was $250,000k much much much shittier places in the DC area or any more popular area are approaching a million. The difference in rent/mortgage is thousands per month on its own
B. Cities suck in every single way. I left downtown Chicago years ago and dread the idea of having to go back to a city and Chicago isn’t even big compared to NY. Everything about it sucks. Trying to get three miles is a pain in the ass. Public transportation sucks, traffic moves at 10mph, ubers are not even reliable, parking is expensive and requires repaying every couple hours so you can’t just go to someone’s place, leave the car and forget about it. You can’t go anywhere without it being a huge thing. Leave in the suburbs and commute and you’re looking at sitting in stop and go traffic for 30 mi and taking 1-2hrs to get in and then to get back. And there’s so many annoying people in the city that make so much fucking noise all the time. Fuck cities. Small areas are so nice

>you must be willing to work in office 5 days a week
Fuck off. We are in the epitome no worker demand. They’re looking for who will sink the lowest to get a job. I worked for years remote before covid. Now half the places I look at are making a point of taking that away from you. My job is 100% working in front of a computer. I’ll come in like 1-2 a week for a meeting. You either happy with the rate my work comes in or you’re not. That’s independent of the amount of time you watch me in front of the computer

net+ is basically
>what is a router?
>what is a switch?
>ok now if you're so smart define every subnet (no i will not explain what a subnet even is to you first)

i didnt challenge the real test but all the practice tests and "study materials" really are just

>know what even a home network looks like
>ok now memorize and regurgitate this table of individual bits making up every possible CIDR definition
>and no we will not only not explain how subnetting works or that the notation refers to how many bits in the number are relevant, but we will also explicitly deflect whenever the subject of binary numbers or even basic on-off signalling comes up
Net+ is designed to be failed over and over and no one in networking respects it because it, again, is basically only barely enough to configure your home network but if you passed it you memorized a table of what number corresponds to what binary number but without ever having been told (and probably not figuring out yourself) how binary works.

they have 100000000000 applicants per position and most of them lie so they have to do that shit. apply to weird widget jobs and your interviews will be just as weird and overtly hostile but at least job-related
