Why is this kind of person so common in tech circles?
>>
Lack of social skills and the consequences of such probably.
>>
I'd be pretty resentful too if retards came into the one thing I like to do and try to take it from me.
>>
This, they've got the "if I can't have it then no one can" mentality about skills that are outside their reach. Not even just with art but with programming also.
>>

Because there are a lot of autists in the tech world. They are still right that people who make entarte art should be hanged.

>everyone who doesnt think highly of me is secretly envious of me and a literal subhuman genetic failure whose opinions do not matter
>this means im loved and respected by everyone who matters
>im also a representative of humanity so being anti-me is being anti-human
Its severe narcissism from artfags who got told they were special their entire life. The bigger their ego, the more insane they become when they fall

sociopaths are everywhere
I knew a bad one once, my options were to kill him or cut ties.

Pic rel is correct but the exact same thing could be set about the same artists who let "le heckin tech bros" live rent free in their heads. The resentful techbros are at least more bearable because they at least keep their autism contained on niche places like here or discord. /ic/-tier creatures meanwhile, tend to lean more on the normie side the and therefore are basically everywhere and therefore Stick there noses and opinions anywhere and everywhere because for some reason they think they, the arts, and humanities as a whole are God's gift to humanity. Techies at least have a somewhat stable and secure job field even when factoring in AI. Humanities focused careers. Meanwhile, have much weaker job security, hence the " starving artist" trope. And respect them for sticking to something they love, but if you want to do that shit as a main career to put foot on the table, you're objectively a fool unless you have connections or are absurdly talented and lucky. The obnoxious artsy types no, they will never get the prestige and respect crave so much so they take out that frustration on other people and "ai bros" are the easiest target since SaaS vermin are committed to making everything worse on purpose for shits and giggles.

It's projection. AI art enjoyers for the most part got into stuff like Midjourney, StableDiffusion, etc. before it became controversial due dude to finding the technology interesting. The concept that it was immoral wasn't yet a widespread belief. Artists then found the next thing to virtue signal about, and because they have absolutely no passion or enthusiasm for technology, nor sense of the wonder of technological advancement, they decided it's perfectly acceptable to attack it and tear it down as collateral. Meanwhile the tech guys are just playing with a cool toy they genuinely found interesting, with no intended harm toward artists.
>>
you mean in artist circles

the tech using people merely use new tools to do a better job, it has been like that for centuries
>>
>>107802445
>everyone that tells me to fuck off is actually a retard envious of how awesome I am
pathetic cope
>>
>>107802445

>guy starts with spitefulmutants

normies are not the good persons they love to think they are.

It's the classic techbro/STEMlord overlap. People who are broadly in the 115-130 IQ range who are smart enough to understand one very complex thing and therefore assume that all other things are somehow lesser in complexity, nails easily driven by the hammer they wield.

Back when I was in undergrad (pre-genAI) I unironically had an engineer approach me and say that he could learn to draw in "a week, tops". Kind of helps to establish the kinds of people we're talking about.
>>
>>107803252
Nobody here has that high an iq. This is pedo neet territory.
>>
it seems like that poster is seething at something that doesnt exist desu
>>
>it's LITERALLY ALL of humanity that is on the stake, not my own shitty "art" career of drawing porn or commissions on twitter. You OWE me money for existing!
>>
>>107803252
>it took me ten years, it must take everyone ten years
Anon, some people ARE smarter and more capable than you. Some people genuinely have no trouble picking up skills that took you a long time to get your head around.

>>107803312
I think it's very fun when people write fanfiction about my posts
>>
>>107803324
And they say that techbros are uncreative
