web version with scripts to make it such that you can actually have multiple conversations open at a timeeven with this, each window eats massive amounts of ram. remember when AIM could have 20 chats open effortlessly in under a meg of ram?if you still need to use discord, vencord (desktop) and aliucord (for android) are at least better than discord.and if you want to be as lightweight as possible while sacrificing some of the "rich" functionality of discord, use discordIRCd and connect to it using your lightweight IRC client of choice.the one thing I wish is that there were some lightweight version of gchat/hangouts. it used to work with pidgin through normal xmpp until they changed that.
