I can't unscrew the cooling system from my laptop to replace the thermal paste. Chinks screwed it in so tight it broke my chink screwdriver bits and now I'm both furious and devastated. How the fuck do you unscrew this shit without making the screw go bald?
skill issue, if you get the correct bit, it shouldnt strip, if its pushing itself out when you turn, the bit is too deep and its too loose, only way around that is to very precisely use ape strength to push in while turning, but if you fail, it will strip badly.

>>107807754>the bit is too deep and its too looseI thought it's PH1... Should I get PH2 and try again? Gotta get a new kit anyway
>>107807869if you've already fucked the screw, maybe you can get at it with pliers?
>>107808387it's only half fucked, I might salvage it if I get the *right* screwdriver which I thought I hadI got 2 others screws with pliers, I got defeated by the 3rd one placed in a hollow square spot surrounded by copper radiator on the same level, so there isn't any room to move the pliers with the screw. Anyways thanks for the help.
Ask >>>/diy/. Usually pulling a stripped screw and anything that requires even a little precision are two different animals, but they make kits for stripped hardware removal. Not sure if any are intended for such small screws. It will require drilling, so it's a project.
the answer is always wd40.
>>107807683get a real screwdriver and twist harder
>>107808561ive used double sided tape a few times on the tip of the screwdriver to help improve the fit on a stripped screw, sometimes thats enough to get it started
Take it to a real man that can get it out
