I've been taken tons of SWE interviews over my career and administered several more as of late, but I have no idea what you want to know.
interviewed with algolia recently. it was a generic api focused take home that involved me having to create an account on their platform. they rejected me a couple days later. annoying
>>107809480ChatGPT is replacing your useless chuds just like AI is replacing "artists" and I think it's funny as shit LMAO
>>107809696based. i am sick of software and apps being full of bugs and shit. constantly needing patched and updates. these so called 'devs" of today couldn't write a hello world script without fucking it up 10 ways to sunday. fuck em. i am glad AI to destroying them. maybe we'll finally stop getting broken, unfinished shit products, shit out by substandard hacks who minored in gender studies.
>>107809696Im gonna kill myself thanks for the info

>>107809790Very interesting code Anon. Tell me, how did you reach this conclusion? and how would we scale this to make Anon not only kill themselves, but also to include those Anons included in replies/threads or even entire boards! Here at [company] we work>at scaling scale with so much very scale for more room to AI slop (scaled) with scaling scale
>>107809790This gonna be useful.
I recently got hired and I sent out a out 200 applications in 3 or 4 months. The place I got hired at asked me only about the projects I had done and didn't have a leetcode section. Every other place just asked extremely arbitrary leetcode questions and wouldn't so much as speak to you until you had solved 4 leetcode hards in 1 hour. The lesson I have taken from this is that if a company doesn't talk to you until you solve their stupid riddles then they're probably a very bad company and just want to appear like they're hiring without hiring anyone.

>>107809480I have one next week, guess it won't be hard because it's a little startup
>>107809480>Tell us your insightsYour interviewers can see everytime you leave the tab to view other shit. It's really obvious to tell if you're asking claude/chatgpt/deepseek the question and regurgitating the bullshit.
>>107809696ai- actually indians
>>107809480its completely randomsome interviews i thought i fumbled i got the jobsome interviews i thought i did well, i was rejectedthe only tip i can give you is try to be personable and excited for the role
>>107809979They meant job applications anon, just in case you are actually retarded enough to think this meant computer applications
>>107809480Interviewed a few weeks ago for a role at my current place of work. They basically wanted someone with specific skillsets for a fucking entry level position. And because my SQL was very basic I didn't make the cut. Probably doesn't help that I choke during the practical portions every damn time.Maybe if I do enough projects it'll one day compensate for that...
>>107809480recently interviewed with applemy insight is, don't interview with apple
>>107811557Lol ya its sort of insane. I failed some interview for alt tabbing because I had to google React docs. Their question was literally write an updating table in React and they expect you to have the syntax memorized. Sigh. The automated follow up email was something like "please explain why you needed to alt tab 5 times and copy and paste 15 words" to your interviewer. The absolute worst fucking interview I had though was this one where the fucking guys were too lazy to actually even attend the interview. It was an email saying hey we're interested in your resume. Please send us a video of you answers these 10 questions. I actually considered doing it, but I'm proud to say I uploaded a cat video.
