Apple sucked for a long time. I got used MacMini many years ago. I tried to use a LCD TV as a monitor. I learned the hard way that there was only 1 supported resolution. Anything else would just cause a black screen with no way to recover from other than doing a factory reset. This problem doesn't exist in Windows computers as they require a 2 step process before switching the resolution permanently, first switching then asking if you want to keep the change before resetting back if no confirmation was detected. Just works MY ASS.
