Why is installing this shit so fucking complicated? I've been reading the instructions for 7 years now and it still gives me a headache as to what I'm supposed to do. Unlocking the bootloader turns out to be the easiest part.
>root first, as to how you're gonna get the boot.img to patch with magisksu? lol who knows
>what's that sdcard directory? does it even involve an actual sdcard? lol who knows
Fuck.

because phones are for consuming goyslop
if it were easy to remove the artificial limitations that phones come with, that would be a gateway to dangerous ideologies like Right To Repair and generally caring about freedom.

Whenever I install a custom rom it feels like I am missing half of the information I should be getting from the instructions, until suddenly the rom is installed and everything works.

Phones are not for consuming goyslop, phones are for SMS verification and calls from institutions and business.

Because it's something you have never done before and are punish above your weight class.
It's actually not that hard, if you know what you are doing. I recommend lurking more OP, it's never enough.

I've managed to do it in an hour without any prior experience with anything like this. Are you down-syndromed or something? Real issue is how God awful it makes the camera
>>
almost as if goolag doesn't want you running any software but theirs

>HRRRR IF IT'S HARD THAT MAKES ME SMART!!!
that's what loonix retards think

what part are you having trouble with specifically? i've done this a couple times. maybe i can help

the procedure is extremely streamlined nowadays
i put some android 9-12 roms on my mi pad a few years ago and then came back to it with 16. super simple.
they unified the bootloader to some major TWRP version which handles dm-verity and rooting and flashing gapps is just one version usually. i remember it used to be like 32/64 bit and then different arm versions

I found that officially supported models work best with the built-in "camera" application. OpenCamera is OK but somehow doesn't have access to additional cameras, like with the mad microscopic zoom.

It's really not. You just have to follow the instructions. I know reading comprehension might be a weak point for you but it's really that's simple.

ask your phone's vendor

Nah, it used to be way easier before

Because your parents never taught you how to read, write, or think.

Retard here, I've never used TWRP when installing Lineage ever. Every guide says it's a mandatory step but I've skipped it and it works fine. Why?
>>
Jesus Christ if you can't do what pajeets do daily you must be some special kind of retard
>>

It took me 5 minutes
You're just retarded kid

Imagine needing anything other than a web browser to install a different OS.

all they ask you to do is:

1. unlock the bootloader
2. flash the recovery
3. boot into recovery
4. install the rom

On what?

TWRP is presumably for extracting the boot.img file from the device, which is a necessary prerequisite to root the phone since you have to patch and flash that firmware after using MagiskSU before proceeding.
