What do I need in order to make my own Neuro?

good personality
live2d and some off the shelf LLM with system prompt

>What do I need in order to make my own Neuro?
A lot of money, alot of time and skill (a good chatbot optional, but it makes things easier to develop, just don't fall in the let AI do everything trap).
>>

>off the shelf LLM with system prompt
Building a cardboard PC isn't a very good PC.
>>

>skill
How so? You must be lying, the sourgrapes coping retards told me that what Vedal did was nothing impressive and that you just need to slap a LLM with some with some TTS and that's it.
>>
There so many of these fake AI nigger vtumors and they are all exactly the same ass shit but dont get gaslit spammed relentlessly across social media by major production company so you never hear of them
>ITS POPULAR THAT MEANS ITS GOOD
you have to be 18 to post here, fuck off.

You still need to know how to train the AI with the right data. You still need to have all of the glue code needed to stitch likely multiple AIs and long term memory and have a way form them to interact with other software.
Making temu neurosama is easy but making an actual more equivalent is a time creep and still requires you to know how to code even if you use chatGPT for assistance.
If you break it down it much more evolved then you think.
> the sourgrapes coping retards told me that what Vedal did was nothing impressive and that you just need to slap a LLM with some with some TTS and that's it.
Yes and no. It depends on what you respect, do you respect someone creating a really good GUI for FFMPEG for example?
At the end of the day you should challenge someone to do the same thing if they think it's effortless.

Neuro is as real as your stupidity
>>

I am actually curious if people have thoughts on this. I haven't watched much of neuro so I'm not sure what is so attractive about her or what is impressive about what she can do. I did some searx'ing and saw some redditors making vague comments about how you can't just connect an llm to a vtuber model, how much skill vedal has, how hard he has worked etc. That all might be true, I don't know---but I'm wondering what specifically about neuro suggests that she required more sophisticated engineering than just some RAG setup and prompt engineering?
>>107816544
Clearly there is some engineering work involved to integrate all the moving pieces. But like, is that it? Something that someone could crank out in a week with Opus 4.5? You mention training, is he actually training anything himself?
My gut says there's some kind of secret sauce beyond just stitching a bunch of things together---no doubt that takes some engineering work to do well---but is that all that you really need to do to become the top 5 twitch streamer or whatever?
>>

>is he actually training anything himself?
I don't know for sure, But a model purposely trained to have these characteristics is far better than a system prompt, in my testing system prompts aren't good enough for that.
And then have that AI run a stream for multiple hours, how does it not forget what character to play as? At some point it runs into a token limit and then forgets shit.
>>
>>107816905
OK, use RAG and you're good to go, no?
When you say characteristics, are you just talking about long-term memory or something else?

That is a fact.

Guys, this shit is not healthy.
I've seen the clips, including the VR chat ones. Get out of this headspace.
I'm now seeing dangers to AI had not seriously contemplated before outside fiction.
>>
>>107815884
You cannot get sovl out of someone else model. It needs to be something you finetuned yourself. It's allowed to be a bit retarded. Everyone can forgive that. But not having sovl is the death knell.
>>
>>107816541
Vtumors are for faggots AI or not. Grown ass men watching women make nasally voices and act like children.

Pretty sure they're all pedos.

Vedal is a major production company now...based.
Congrats Vedal.
Half-joking, because he is on track to become that, eventually...Especially if he can follow through on that holographic live shit he has spoke about and continue growing and keep up the merch etc.

Having followed his progress along since 2022, your gut is right. There are so many pieces to the puzzle that contributed to the success that it's far beyond something you can just describe technically.
Just looking at the social layer alone outside of anything directly technical, you have Vedal himself, his friends and help from his friends(music for example), design choices/taste in knowing what people like, networking within the industry and collaborating to grow while simultaneously avoiding all the career ending pitfalls and drama associated with that, not being a simp, etc etc etc...and so much more that I missed and surely so much more that's not public.

It's absurd how this dumb shit blew up, vtumor-watchers truly are braindead. This one may be not as bad as your average slut wearing an anime girl, but it was only entertaining for about 30 minutes when it first went up and that's it. Watching it spout nonsense for years sounds like it would cause brain damage. If there's any left to damage.

>>107816781
That's what I'm confused about, I guess I should watch for myself.. but do people know for sure it's a fancy """AI""" (LLM with extra steps) setup? or is the dude essentially a ventriloquist that maybe integrates an LLM to cope for lack of creativity?
>>
>>107815884
consider this, it must be extremely difficult to do what vedal does otherwise how do you explain winning technology achievement award at vtuber awards??

This thread isn't even technology, stay in /vt/, and there's no room in the favelas for another fucking memetuber on twitch.

Neuro first model is live2d default model
Her voice is Microsoft Voice's Ashley at 1.5x pitch
Her chat was likely from cloud service either Claude or ChatGPT
Her TTS was using cloud service as well, I can't remember the name
Her song were made with RVC

I wonder if you could compile enough data from transcripts of her streams to accurately recreate her.

I think it would work for older neuros. Newer neuros also have hidden outputs like reasoning that we can't scrape.
Vedal doesn't do twitch subtitles which can be programmatically read to avoid helping out someone who wants to scrape neuro's output
So it is something he doesn't want to happen (though he isn't too concerned about it)
>>
>>107815884
7-8 years of development from basically nothing and autistic tendency to tinker with the code and dataset.
From technical point of view she's probably not that special, a serious AI developer would probably get aneurysm between Vedal's sloppy code and autistically heartfelt documentation and comments. Vedal is also part of pretty much every stream, which is important because it gives some kind of direction for everything. Most AI vtubers fucking sucks because it's just chatgpd attached to shitty model left running for hours, it's lame.

The voice service is just Azure
