Dimming zone monitors have like a thousand LEDs and that works sometimes, but leads to a lot of halo around areas that have just a couple bright pixels. What I'm asking for is a monitor that can shut off the black bars ever so present on 2.38:1 and 4:3 content so that they're properly black instead of dark gray
