What cooling solutions do you guys have for your DDR5 ram? These fans have been keeping my ram running cool
Placebo. RAM just needs a heatsink.
>>107816250Supposedly ddr5 needs cooling.
>>107816235I should attach a small fan to the top desu
>>107816235Unless you have a complete meme case with only a single 80mm intake fan passive airflow is enough even for overclocked DDR5.
>>107816275Not according to level1techs. People are having strange issues with the chip on ddr5 overheating
>>107816250>>107816275t. poorfags without ddr5 ORt. brainlets who are running at JDECanyan ways i have heard a good solution is actually printing a shroud from one of your case fans. im forward thinking enough to have put two massive 140mm fans on top of my case specifically because i always try to keep good airflow going over my dimms and vrms so i havent had any issues yet.
>>107816412You're calling me poor when you clearly can't afford to buy RAM with decent cooling, hah!
>>107816235I got three 140mm fans blowing at mach 69 through my case. Keeps everything cool. My ddr5 kit has never topped 53c even under full load for hours. My 9070 XT never peaks 68c.Etc. >inb4 crybaby fags complaining about pc too loud buhu Fuck off. Cooling or quiet, I take cooling every day of the week.
just zip-tie a 40mm fan over your ram running at inaudible RPMsand another one over your VRMsand a chipset fan while you're at ita small amount of airflow solves every issue
>>107816457bro you're running at 2133MHz JDEC you didnt even enable an XMP profile don't talk to me without getting on your hands and knees first it's embarrassing (for you)
>>107816607>retard incoherently seething like a child is a sharty grooming victimWho could have seen it coming.
>>107816548i wish i had this level of aura (translators note: gen alpha term for "based"), if i think of repasting my VRMs it feels like an intrusive thought which will develop into an OCD mental illness if i don't immediately discard it
>>107816773i dont know what any of those words mean
