Reddit trawling AI have made large enterprise companies recruit their own employees into "reddit task forces" to shill their brand on redditNot just to make redditors buy their product, but so that AI will pick up their brand and shill them on all AI search enginesWhat the actual fuck is wrong with AIfags?
>>107818797That's not just AI. There's companies who have people make fake posts with certain problems (be it software, hardware, or service) and then they use other accounts to shill the solution to that problem and then another army of accounts to updoot the post promoting a solution to the problem they created so that more people flock to the company that sells the solution when coming from Google search etc. That's been a thing for a decade.
>>107818822This is just another form of SEO. Political campaigns, advertisers, gov agencies, all have departments set up for social influence. The DNC in 2016 had a department solely for making political memes to post on Twitter and Reddit.
>>107818797>>107818822>>107818843Is AIfaggotry the accelerationism that we needed to finally kill the internet and have it all regulated so it can no longer be a trojan horse to peddle scams to retards and children?Everything is so shit online now that at this point, out of spite I wouldn't mind seeing it all explode so that no one can have it.
>>107818797>>107818822I'm sick and tired of all this
>organic
>>107818797Imagine thinking this is something new. Reddit has been overrun with shills for a long, long time - both corporate *and* glowing. Not to mention the rampant bots. The admins do nothing to stop it because it's ultimately all just more traffic, engagement and subsequently money for them. That said, turd worlders are still the biggest plague of all, as they are everywhere else on the internet. It's not an exaggeration to say that you have a 50/50 chance of it being an Indian when you interact with someone on Reddit. It's even worse now people can hide their post history.
Damn nigga Reddit is 80% bots already. Just add one more.Bots posting slop for AI to consume to feed back to bots posing as humans.Where did things go wrong..t human poster
>>107818797What's the point of this? The chatbot isn't going to ever cite it's sources and start shilling your brand for you.
>>107818797>photo of screenshot of a reddit post>inb4 using work computer>using work computer to do non-work-related stuff
>>107819183>The chatbot isn't going to ever cite it's sources? Grok cites its sources, at least.
>>107819183they do cite their sources have you never used one?they just do a google search in the background and summarize the resultsif you're on the first results page you get into the AI results automatically
>>107818822so exactly like virus', malware and anti-virus /anti-malware companies have been doing for decades? but just on reddit.
Why do they need employees to do this when AI can just do it?
