The big problem with ai is that it signals the end of humanity. Big companies will replace as much human labor as possible with ai, creating an economic authoritarianism that the average person can't escape from. A lot of people are hoping for a post scarcity world, but do you honestly think big corporations would just give stuff away to the masses? Even if they did, make sure not to miss your corporate overlords off or else your weekly food rations will be cut. And there'll be no way out of that position because ai has taken all avalible jobs. There's also the fact that vast majority of young people are exporting their critical thinking to ai chat bots. Bad shit happens when people rely on technology for everything. If it can fail it will fail. The same could be said of humans. We are fallable, but we don't have a moral, rational, or legal framework to hold sufficiently smart technology accountable for it's mistakes. Looking at the future of ai is looking at the end of human supremacy. Humans cannot be replaced by unfeeling machines who adhere to our human morals through great manipulation of programming.

And when you use clean water you eventually evaporate it and then it rains down (mostly into sea) and goes to become dirty water again requiring more treatment, not to mention that if you are using more water then rains down, you will have to eventually start pumping water from lakes and underground, at which point you are actually using up water that will not return to the lake or ground unless you start consuming less then it rains again.
