Why would you buy a speaker that needs anything internet related? I'll accept Bluetooth speakers, I wouldn't use them for hifi but they're definitely convenient for music while you work on something. But those don't depend on any connection other than a local one to whatever source you pair them to.

It is Bose’s proprietary 2010s wireless solution for its products at the time. Hopefully someone recreates the Soundtouch app so I can continue to configure my remote to access streaming services.
