does anyone else agree that lcd screens are a technological dead end? they can keep scaling up the pixels to say 8k. but it'll inevitably be just a high resolution of simulated pixels. so just keep including more pixels until what?

we unlocked CRT on the tech tree first before. I believe that wasn't meant to happen. and we were meant to unlock CRT second to go beyond what LCD is capable of. CRTs are literally light photon projectors. a CRT isn’t just a panel of pixels. It’s a photon emitting beam system. The phosphor is excited directly by an electron beam. the display is literally projecting photons rather than just filtering a backlight. CRTs are where the future is
