Games are usually the buggiest shittiest pile of slop code on the average computer because they aren't made by real programmers, they're made by "game devs" that don't do any form of error checking because they can usually get away with it - until someone has a slightly weird hardware configuration or something they didn't expect happens, such as alt-tabing out of a game or whatever.

for example typing "spongebob" runs

setsid ~/Applications/mpv-master/build/mpv  --auto-window-resize=no   --autofit=55%  --force-window --shuffle ~/Videos/Spongebob  >/dev/null 2>&1 &

to auto play spongebob episodes in mpv. Plenty of more wrappers like that and I don't need sudo.
