Here's how you fix that.
>lsblk
You're looking for something called sda1 or such, it'll have a tag EFI next to it.
>sudo unmount /dev/sda1
Hit enter
Now you want to type
>sudo mkfs.vfat -F32 /dev/sda1
Hit enter again
>reboot
Boom, problem solved!

Haven't used kde connect for a long time but yeah, that shit was annoying, can't even send multiple files at once.

Is there really no seamless method of transferring data wirelessly b/w your pc and mobile these days?

Lol no. EFI is the Linux "E File Interface." It's needed by KDE Connect to interact with external systems.
It can get corrupt some times and just needs a quick "reboot" for lack of better terms.
