Hope it's alright to repost my question from the old thread.I currently cannot view any adult content on the official X website. It all gets blurred with the message "Age-restricted adult content. This content might not be appropriate for everyone. To view this media, you’ll need to verify your age to your profile. X also uses your age to show more relevant content, including ads, as explained in our Privacy Policy."Clicking "Show" brings up a QR-code. If I scan it, then it opens the post on the X app, where it ISN'T blurred and DOESN'T ask for any age verification. The blurring only happens on the website.Web searching gave me nothing at first, but attaching the special sauce of "site:reddit.com" gave me this thread, where the same problem is described and no solution was found: https://old.reddit.com/r/Twitter/comments/1mkvf15/Does anyone know of any solution to this, or do I just have to pray that Elon fixes the fucking thing?
>>107854240What is a decent software for organizing movies on windows? I'm not going down the media server rabbit hole this is just an air gapped pc connected to the TV.
>>107854426a folder called "movies" and then inside of it, the name of the movie with `(XXXX).mkv` year appended to the end
>>107854240I wanna watch a Russian kino that doesn't have any English subtitles available. Is there an AI I can use to create live English subtitles as I watch it on my PC? The movie is on YouTube.
>>107854387Just for shits and giggles, try clearing ur cache and cookies on the web browser you're using on the PC.
>>107854662I tried that earlier, but it had no effect. I also tried opening the site in Chromium instead of Firefox, also with no effect.
is there no way to block youtube adverts on my smart TV's official youtube app? not even with pihole?
>>107854682Hmm if I were you next thing I'd try is using Twitter in incognito mode with all extensions disabled in Firefox and chromium. Seeing as the post you linked is 5 months old and isn't affecting many users makes me believe it isn't something on twitter's side but something you have installed or configured that's causing this. If incognito mode doesn't work on Firefox or chromium try using chrome out of the box with no extensions. This should help narrow the problem down
>>107854738They're served from the official youtube domain so no pihole won't work. They need to be blocked in the app itself. Whether there is a way to do that or not depends on whether you can install things on your smart TV or not, for example to patch the youtube app or to use an alternative, ad-free appIf it's android-based then just install newpipe
>>107854810its some rare OS that ships with cheap Hisense smart TVshttps://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/cc591a37You know what they say... Buy Cheap, Buy Twice
>>107854741I forgot to say so before, but the Chromium install I used was completely fresh. No extensions, no cookies, nothing.I suppose I _could_ try regular Chrome too, but considering that chromium uses the same engine I doubt it would do much.
Where can I buy something fun or useful with PayPal?
>>107854583synthalingua? No idea about the quality of translation but it seems to work and has a gui that can show floating transparent subtitles
