>>107855589Real answer?Your network card don't send a lot of current to your LEDs, because they don't need to be bright enough to lit a room, and because, even if cutting corners is a given when building laptop, it's not that pinchy.Your lightbulb LEDs on the other hand are produced to be as cheap as possible in very very large quantities, and should emit as much light as possible for the price.They can afford to make it burn in 6 months, when you don't even remember where you buy it anyway.So they use the cheapest resistor available and let pass way more current than reasonable to make it brighter.If you want LED lightbulb that last virtually forever, just change the resistor yourself (5 cents and 1h if you have never done it before) or try to find "dubai" lamps (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klaJqofCsu4).
