how often do you clean your keyboard?
>>107857958I wipe my whole pc area with a cloth and some cleaner spray once a day some times every two days. Maybe once a month I'll air blast the pc and keyboard sometimes more often than once a month.
>>107857958Once or twice.
>>107857958>blackwidow ultimatelol I have that exact onewhen I cleaned it for the first time in more than a half a decade it looked similar
>>107857958Maybe once a year. I take all of the keys off and wipe everything down. It's really not so bad.
>>107857998i always somehow get random hairs and dust and shit trapped underneath the switches, under the plate, etc so i have to take everything off and hope i dont bend any pins in my switchesit takes me like an hour to do a full clean
>>107857998>spacebar and enter key never work again
>>107857958i just cleaned keyboard and swapped out keycaps. first time after this was built, so about 2-2.5 years.
>>107857958>>107857970This. Baby wipes and micro fiber cloth. Mouse pad, keyboard and mouse, daily, whole setup and screens, every 2-3 days. Once a week I go over it with a compressor too and dust.
>>107857958Your keyboard has shit design
>>107857958I dont. I use a keyboard guard. You should too.
>>107858011>not disinfectant wipes
>>107857958I buy a new one, and wipe my ass on the old one and give it to charity.
>>107857970>>107858011That is exceptionally gay.
>>107858089I use a mild eucalyptus oil + soap dilution for cleaning kb/mouse/controller/headset and other stuff I touch often, buttons, mouse pad, laptop, phone, etc. Better for plastics. For the table and other surfaces I use a alcohol solution. I don't cough or sneeze at my screens nor have I flies so a dry microfiber cloth is usually fine for them.>>107858374Thanks. I'm autistic like that. Only takes a few minutes when you have everything always ready in a drawer.
>>107858449>a alcoholan*
>>107858449It just got even more gay
>>107858474Does that arouse you?
>>107857958i have spare keycaps so i remove them all and put them in some water with dish soap and put the other ones ononly like once a year though desu
>>107857958I use a laptop so NEVER would be the answer
>>107858497that doesn't make sense
>>107858486yes
>>107858510How do I clean my laptop's inbuilt keyboard? I don't even think the keycaps are supposed to be taken off.
>>107858521>inbuiltwho said anything about that
>>107858540Have a good day anon
>>107857958I purchased that exact same keyboard at a garage sale from a fat neckbeard and it looked like that if not worse, complete with pubic hair and what looked like cum stains. I got the price down from €25 to €10 thanks to that. It was worth it because it was pristine otherwise once deep scrubbed and disinfected. I still use it to this day.
>>107858554ok you too. I just cleaned my keyboard (that I use with my laptop) a couple of days ago and it feels great. It had been a while, and I didn't notice it was kinda greasy.
Since mechanical keyboard autism became a ""hobby"" of mine it has become a once a month thing. Brushing the keycaps clean with a horsehair brush is every day or two, disassembly to clean off the plate is once a month, scrubbing the keycaps to look good as new is maybe once per two months. I rotate my 5 keyboards so they don't get dirty as fast.
>>107857958one or twice every 5 years
>>107857958everytime my laptop fan gone rogue.
>>107858563>from a fat neckbeard and it looked like that if not worse, complete with pubic hair and what looked like cum stains
>>107857958Never because the keys don't come off without a risk of them breaking
I hit it with the datavac once per week normally.
