Why is it so hard to find a DAP that is medium-small and has balanced output, everything is either bulky or too small so the UI/controls are horrible or fuckhuge big

I think there is more daps on hiby os from other brands but they are rather fat. With a budget of $130, what v shaped IEMs should I get mainly for metal? I'd really prefer if they'd be comfortable for long durations and come with a carrying case, it doesn't feel good to put something in my ear knowing that it's been in my dirty ass pockets

can we take a moment to appreciate how far IEMs have come? Seriously it is pretty amazing that $10 shitbuds can perform this well. This used to be TOTL just a few years ago and literally unheard of a decade+ ago unless you count etymotics which actually still perform worse overall
