How slow is your pc /g/ ?
it's aight
>>107867930This is a Lenovo laptop from Feb-2017. Still works good as my only computer - I don't have full desktop anymore. I did a few modifications on it: SSD instead of HDD, internal webcam and microphone removal, implementation of ALC5686 DAC because Intel HD Audio sounded bad. My Speccy for Linux shows 8 GB Micron RAM, but I have 4GB Micron + 4GB SK hynix modules, this needs to be fixed.
>>107867930>Windows 11 IoTWhy? You miss out on features and performance improvements.
>i5 4460>16gb ddr3 ram>gtx 750 ti>openSUSEit's pretty comfy, we have the dell same monitor.
>>107867930Fast enough to shitpost!>inb4 Celery pls no bully
Speccy is depreciated shit
>implying I'd facilitate any sort of fingerprinting by publishing my specsIt's good enough that I won't need to think about upgrades for the next 5 years.
>>107870718this is a proper computer
>>107870751why no EXPO? you're running your RAM way under spec
>>107870826Idiot
>>107870826Because EXPO is shitAlso, they're a 7600Mhz kit, but AMD doesn't really play nice with RAM beyond 6400Mhz, and 6000Mhz is just a nice easy round number that my RAM can easily get stable at.I could probably even push my timings down a bit more if I wanted, but there is no real point, i'm quite stable where i'm at currently.
>>107870810Computer thanks you. https://files.catbox.moe/2wc8i7.webm
>>107870980Yeah I'm sure you could very easily do CL28.
>>107870798bro think he the main character
>>107871009Probably, but it wouldn't provide anything but slightly better synthetic benchmark results, so meh I can't be bothered.
>>107871026Why can't you zoomers speak like normal human beings?
>>107871079With a X3D chip the benefits of RAM latency aren't as noticeable in the first place
>>107871206Yea, but tuning to 6000Mhz CL30 still gets you 98% of the way there anyway, and my RAM can easily run those timings/frequency, so why not.
