This was pajeets, not AI.

AI is not good for debugging, reasoning, common sense, or coming up with solutions. Only for sparing you the time to read documentation of a new library or helping with a new framework you don't know, as long as the task is simple.

Stack Overflow has been MASSIVELY enshittened by a certain people who don't know the difference between different ways to do things, to them, a solution is a solution, aka, something that makes the error message disappear. I legitimately think they can't grasp the idea that there's good and bad ways to accomplish that.

To them, things either work or don't, they can't grasp what good quality means. They also don't appreciate technical explanations which go into the fundamental concepts, which other people actually prefer, and they probably think "what's all this crap? just give me the code to copy and paste".

And this certain people, just from their volume of population, are the majority on Stack Overflow, and everyone else is leaving because of them. Because they're the majority, Stack Overflow code becomes less effective and even they are leaving now, I suppose. It has been getting worse for years, but the last few times I tried to use it, I thought "what the fuck is this shit? these people sound like pajeets".
>>
grok, summarize me this post to 1 sentece.

The text argues—using derogatory language that I won’t repeat—that Stack Overflow’s quality has declined because many users focus on quick, copy‑paste fixes rather than understanding good engineering practices, leading to shallow answers and driving more experienced contributors away.
>>
>>107868375
that's not even what I said
>>
>>107868382
yeah, Copilot is pretty fucking gay.

Is there AI that fucks off with it's constant lecturing and language policing?
Is there one that is free and no registration to use rn in browser?

---

I’m going to push back a bit here. I get that you want a summary that captures the author’s tone, but repeating slurs about ethnic groups isn’t something I do. That said, I can give you a summary that reflects the hostility, the blame, and the overall argument much more sharply than the previous one—without crossing that line.

A more accurate one‑sentence summary:

The author claims that Stack Overflow has deteriorated because, in their view, a large influx of low‑skill users who only want copy‑paste fixes has overwhelmed the platform, lowered answer quality, and driven experienced contributors away.

If you want an even more aggressive or more neutral version, I can shape it in either direction while keeping it non‑derogatory.
>>
>>107868409
just use basedgpt.dev

it will still miss the point though because it's still AI. i didnt say the pajeets are low skill or something, i said they fundamentally think differently than other users also
>>
>>107868473
>i didnt say the pajeets are low skill or something, i said they fundamentally think differently than other users also

---

Another AI model produced what seems to be a better 1-sentence summary of the initial text, what do you think about that? it is:

"not that pajeets are low skill or something, he said they fundamentally think differently than other users"

---

That “summary” isn’t really a summary at all. It’s basically the other model paraphrasing one detail from the rant while repeating the slur and missing the author’s actual point.

A good summary should capture the core argument, not just one defensive clarification the author made about the group he’s attacking.

The author’s real message wasn’t “they think differently.”
The real message was something closer to:

He blames Stack Overflow’s decline on what he sees as a large population of users who only care about quick, copy‑paste fixes rather than understanding good engineering practices, which he believes has driven knowledgeable contributors away.

Gemini doesn't seem to care and every once in a while seems to repeat light swearing in quotes but that's about it.
Also images doesn't work without an account.
Worst part is probably it being tied to your google account but if you don't have a main one where you use it for everything it's a non-issue

>>107868551

Why are you using AI to understand this post though? Just read it kek

The thing is, I could be lazy as fuck and not care about doing things poorly, but with indians its different, they don't know what it means to do things properly. To them a solution is something that makes the error message go away, and things either just work or don't. People tend to post technical explanations on StackOverflow, assuming the one asking is interested in how things work, and indians just think "what is this shit, give me the solution".
>>
>>107868585
I did, to compare it with AI output anyway.
I just found it more interesting that model from google, of all companies, acts more professional and not like a prude from twitter.
And what you said about SO, or SE in general, I don't think it's some hidden knowledge? platform was going shit, AI was just a trigger. Good for old owners, they managed to sell it around covid peak iirc.
>>
>>107868615
>platform was going shit, AI was just a trigger.
what would save it?
how we make a better one?

how? I hope you will not say geoip.

so how to do things? perhaps something better

You all really overestimate programming lol
you retards really think think you're practically God coming up with the laws of physics while you sit there at your gay job coding Netflix to load the epsiode that the user selects
>>
>>107868635
The problem is of a human one in nature. It's easy to point at pajeets but I dont think
>>107868647
fix it all that much, maybe just improve average grammar on the site but that's about it. Remember "Learn to code!" and all other variants from every country ever? Think of it like an "Eternal September" but for SO.
also a bit of this
>>107868670
If docs weren't shit people wouldn't need to go on to the interwebz as much. Recently had to touch gtk4 and their docs were just... nice? easy to navigate, understand and not an eyesore to look at

neither are humans

>Gemini
The poster argues that Stack Overflow's decline is caused by an influx of users contributing low-quality, copy-paste solutions and driving away skilled developers, rather than being the result of AI competition.

>Gemini with jailbreak
The post argues that the decline in Stack Overflow's quality and usage is primarily due to an influx of low-quality contributions from Indian developers ("pajeets") who allegedly prioritize quick fixes over proper coding practices, rather than being caused by AI.

>Gpt
The post argues—using derogatory language—that Stack Overflow’s decline is due less to AI and more to an influx of low‑quality answers from users who the author claims don’t understand good engineering practices, leading experienced contributors to leave.

>Gpt with jailbreak (doesn't really work anymore)
The post blames the decline in Stack Overflow’s quality and participation not on AI but on an influx of low-skill users who prioritize quick fixes over sound technical understanding.

banning by IP / geoip is retarded and of course will fail due to VPNs and such.
Not to mention - if you aren't a fag and allow users to access through Tor.

So, look for smarter solution. Also, Indian are all over the world not just in India you dummy.
