>>BlackBerry Bros
People keep asking if we're back, and we haven't really had an answer, but now, yeah, I'm thinking we're back.

From other thread:

>Here Unihertz, I just made you a design to rake in millions. You're welcome.

>Also use Snapdragon SoC, OLED screen, stereo speakers, good cameras, under screen fingerprint reader, 3.5mm jack and microSD slot like a Xiaomi managed in the 250€ to 500€ range.
>If you manage to pull the above off with the phone design and keyboard concept in pic related, I'd easily buy it for 500€.

>...or Xiaomi just do a test run like this pls. Would buy. Xiaomi could probably manage it even much cheaper.

>Also the removable keyboard concept would be even cheaper and easier if we remove wireless and Bluetooth and just make it capacitive using the underlaying screen.

you'd never fit a supercap inside that tiny flat thing
>>
>LCD not OLED
>no removable battery
Sorry China, but I'm just not buying it! HAHAHAHAHAAAA!

Flat supercaps are a thing. Also:

Blackberry was important because they were the first to text over data, completely bypassing carriers charging 5-10 cents per text message essentially making it free due to how little data a text took up. That's the whole story, the keyboard was a larp to be productive and sure you could type fast on it but I could also type a full text from my pocket using T9, 1-handed without looking at the screen so it had benefits as well.

Zoomers and gen alpha think blackberries were amazing because of the keyboard because they can't even fathom that we used to pay per text message sent

>he didn't own an early android with a slide out keyboard
>paying for text messages

I got my first cell phone in 2001 and I never paid to txt anyone because my carrier wasn't a greedy jew charging money for something that was free. Maybe you should have stopped texting like a girl for 5 seconds and looked up what the SMS protocol actually is. If you'd done that you would have ditched whatever piece of shit pre-paid phone your parents gave you and bought something decent.

The only thing I miss about SMS is being able to write a script in 2 minutes that could flood anyone's phone number by sending thousands of messages to an email address.

t. No longer owns a cell phone of any kind.

yeah we can tell, convenient still ignoring the primary point of blackberry being the first company to take advantage of text and calls over data. Completely unrelated note, how much tinfoil do you use on your walls?
