I needed to modify someones github project to work with something I had so after like 10+ years of not programming, I was a bit out of touch. So I decided to vibe code to get my barrings again and help me along and honestly it was enjoyable.but I know if I remembered how to do most shit myself I would have preferred to just do it myself.
I do but I only gen simple code I can read and understand back for basic scripting.

I am a poor phd student, I finished my research internship where I had infinite access to opus 4.5 thinking which felt amazing. I just use ChatGPT and Gemini's web intetfaces and copy paste. But, I'm probably going to start trying to get autonomous agents going. I tried geminucli with the free model and it was a bit shit. I had to hand hold it. But that is a weak model. I also need to set up the planner, worker, reviewer pattern. So they reviewer could detect if the worker is stuck and ask the planner to come up with a better plan, that sort of thing. I want to get this running on my phone too... I guess ssh from phone to tmux is the typical way.

It doesn't fit into my style though and reasoning about it is hard because I still need to modify it.
