And you will be happy.
All these boomers can't be more wrong, they live in a different world. They should retire already.

and how does he plan on making that happen?
I'm not sure how rhetorical that question is, because the timing makes me think this is just opportunistic, but at the same time he's jeff bezos

>2003 TED Talk, Bezos used a striking historical metaphor that feels hauntingly relevant today. He told the story of a 100-year-old brewery that once had to operate its own massive electric generator because a national power grid didn't exist yet. At the time, if you wanted power, you had to build the plant yourself.
Bezos called this "undifferentiated heavy lifting." It was a massive, expensive effort that didn't actually make the beer taste better; it was just a necessity of the era.
>He argued that the internet and eventually computing itself would follow the path of the electric grid. Why own the "generator" (your local PC hardware) when you can simply plug into a utility?

So let me get this straight. Because Jeff Bezos said something in a ted talk in 2003, about how your local PC could simply become a utility, this means that the current AI push is a conspiracy to get people to start paying for subscriptions for PC hardware, even though we have no proof outside of this quote from a Ted Talk 23 years ago.

Like this doesn't make any sense, conspiracy theorist are so retarded.

You're absolutely right! Corporations hate subscription and would rather avoid their users become recurring payers.

>Billionaires and politicians have the authority to literally take away something that is so deeply ingrained into modern society that it is pretty much essential for society to function
You will own whatever you like and you will be happier

I have been saying this for months and you faggots have ignored me. I have been saying they don't want you owning a PC. They dont want you running a local LLM. They don't want you writing and compiling your own code. They don't want you doing anything outside of their control.
I have been saying it over and over and you fuckfaces just laughed and ignored it.
I hope it all comes true and you are locked into using a cell phone where you have no choice but to live under the boots of corporations.
You deserve every bit of it.

Simple :
Ask the lawmaker to categorize any computer with more than one core and/or 64mb of ram as a weapon.
Starting from 2027, you'll need to have a state-issued license to use and own such a computer.
If you own such a computer already, you must surrender it to your nearest police station before 2028.
Breaking those laws must be punishable by death in every state/country where it's still allowed.

It's not a joke. It's the future. Remember : You read about it here first.

There was already talk about requiring registration and licensing to run a local LLM. In the same way you need a license to operate a ham radio
