Daily poorfag cope thread.
>>107870562anecdotal but i've used my lg c2 10 hours a day since 2022 without burn-in. even played a wow pserver for a year on it. i'm often in the dark and use 50 pixel brightness though and dont use HDR that often. i also hide taskbar and minimize everything to a true black wallpaper when i afk
>>107870562
>>107870562Yeah, before it degrades at least.
>>107870699even degraded it's still look better than IPS trash
>>107870719The only thing the abomination in OP's pic looks better than is another OLED with even worse burn-in.
OLEDs degrade over time anyway
>>107870811LMFAO is that actual anti-OLED propaganda? What did the poorfags use? The GIMP?
>>107870818
>>107870839What is this retardation? OLED can have temporary image retention too that isn't actual permanent burn-in.
>>107870865Is that AI generated??
>>107870671reminds me of that old craigslist ad with a guy giving away his plasma TV for free because his roommate left it paused on gay porn for a week while he was on vacation."if you don't mind a picture of the biggest male facial in recorded history adorning your plasma TV, it can be yours for free."
>>107870975it's not that you get some image burned in the screen, that can happen but also OLED degrades faster, so you get that used up burn in
>>107870562OLED is not for poors. OLED is for people with the disposable income to buy a new monitor every 2-3 years.
1 year, just ONE YEAR, one.
even if OLEDs crapped out after a handful of years (not my experience) i would still buy them lol. some might not think that's worth it though. same way some laugh at people spending 1k+ on headphones, or 1k+ on a chair. if you're not particularly sensitive to the fidelity upgrades in x domain then it wont seem worth it and for many visual fidelity just isnt that important. the oled discussion will go on forever, you just have to figure out if its worth it to you. spend money where you get the most value in return for it. what that is and what the weightings are will be different for everyone. it feels like many people are wanting to conclude if oleds are objectively "worth it" or not but you wont get there. its not good or bad enough for that imo
>>107870811>OLEDs degrade over time anywayall panels degrade over time, retard
>>107871086not like the OLEDs, read thee thread or look it up
The funny thing is, the burn in compensation data is stored in a shitty eMMC chip with limited writes. When that chip dies, which happens often, the panel is useless too since the burn in becomes super obvious without the matched compensation data..
>>107871065I hate that gook shill that's paid to call people poor for not wanting to purchase smasnug's slop. Desperate jeet behavior.
>>107871243ikr LG/Sony have the best panels imho
>>107870894>vilbrantt colorsyou tell me
