I got a chink RSP1 clone SDR for under $20 back in 2022. Amazing deal for what it is but it saw no use. To me all the software that supported SDRplay just sucked. I loved SDR# too much to commit to it. But I decided to dust it off (literally, I had to open it up and remove all the dust from the board) and see what can be done in 2026. SDR++ supports the SDRplay API and is basically a clone of the SDR# UI. It's also possible to use open source drivers through soapy but according to SDR++ this is deprecated so I just went with the proprietary crap. If you are interested in playing with one of these and want open source drivers the info is here:https://blog.marxy.org/2023/05/using-sdrplay-rsp1-clone-with-cubicsdr.htmlIf you're new to SDRs and just want to fuck around I'd say get a good old RTL-SDR. That's how I started. That's how anybody should start. The RSP1 clones are superior and not much more expensive but it takes a bit more tinkering to get it working and you won't have the same level of software support. All the tutorials mostly revolve around RTL-SDR and SDR# which especially fucks you if you're a Linux user like me. I was running SDR# through wine and dealing with all kinds of bullshit. SDR++ is welcome after all that.
I would just like to say this is a different op than the previous thread
post good product reviews

>>107880631>>107880591yes, maybe it's an aliexpress bug. there's several reviews with the same text but each a different random pic like some kids playing footballthis one is an actual pic of the product
>>107880666I see this too where the text clearly refers to a different product as if the store reused urls or the customer submitted the review to the wrong page
