Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am on Mint right now, if I switch to Pop OS, will my Steam saves work on Pop OS? Also, how's COSMIC? Ready for gayming?
>>107880620you will be beta tester, this is linux, most likely drivers will not work, and other stuff will be buggy, but do as you want, if you look it up on youtube then you realize it's another meme os
>>107880620There is a general for "stupid questions" that so that newer users aren't discouraged >>>/g/sqtOn your question: I haven't used steam in a while but I think saves will transfer automatically so long as they're actually stored in cloud (which is an option you set on your steam client itself) and not locally. if they're stored locally you should make a backup then transfer the saves manually once you're done with the installation. I can't help you with gaming performance and compatibility on Linux since I don't game as much anymore, but again, you can ask in the sqt general
>>107880638but cosmic is stable??
>>107880620Cosmic is fine pop os is easy and straightforward you'll be fine save your files on the cloud or back then up however they will work. If things seem tough it's because your not used to it you'll get there unused pop os for a long time is is great even on Nvidia.
