>>107887080There is definitely some weird shit going on. I went to microcenter the day after christmas and almost all of these cards were below or at MSRP. I got this 9070xt for $530, the very next day it was listed at over $100 more. I remember reading a report some time late last year about how retailers weren't restocking RAM because it sat on their shelves for too long, then a few weeks later we get the entire "ram shortage" story, and now all the ram is much more expensive, and yet it still is sitting on retailer shelves. I get something being scarce and thus requiring a higher price, like during covid when GPUs were going twice the MSRP because you just couldn't find them anywhere, but now all of these things are readily available, and yet we are still seeing covid era pricing.
>>107887124>*Avoid Nvidia Due To Possible Melting Connectors & Driver Problems>*5070 ti and 5060 ti 16gb are discontinuedhow does nvidia disinformation keep getting into these ops?
>>107887164You are a pedophile. Everything you say is worthless. The last pedo poster we had in this thread the dlss schizo got his accounts doxxed just a warning.

>>107887164If I knew owning a 5080 was going to cause so much seething, I would have got a 5090.
Man, I used to care about pc parts, but now I tried hackintosh and latest tahoe on my 5600x and 6800 I don't feel like ever buying another windows 'puter. Shit is so comfy, I wish linux worked this way.
>>107887191projecting hard
so i just got a ASUS 27" ROG Strix XG27AQWMG OLED QHD 280 Hz, for hdr do i just turn on rtx hdr on global in the nvidia app? ive never used hdr before
>>107887124Is the MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard a decent budget motherboard for Ryzen 5 9600x and RTX 4070s?
Another nicotroon thread great
hey nerds, for 4K or even 8K video editing, what should I be looking for in ram beside "A lot of it"? I see some 2x8 16gb kits for 250 and then others for 400 bucks, what am I missing?
>>107887309at $400 they're probably 2x16GB, not 2x8GB.
5500 cpu4060 gpu
>>107887309If you have to ask then you should be buying a Mac
>>107887315checking some of the comments it apparently has something to do with the CL46. These are some Crucial RAM kits that are $250. The other Ram kit seems to be CL36? they're saying CL30 would be Ideal. I'll keep my eyes pealed
>>107887124Buy a 9070xtThat is all
>>107887317Godspeed, king.

Alright so I'm kind of freaking the fuck out right now because my new just built AM5 pc is seemingly stuck memory training. I turned it on and let it go for a whole hour even, still no post. WTF DO I DO?!
>>107887367Yeah, or maybe, you know, search for a basic article to get a footing and then come here once you know a bit more.
>>107887377what's the post code/debug led say?reset cmos maybe?
>people replying to the troon baitCan you stop replying to the anime faggot. This general is effectively dead bc of that single faggot and useless /g/ moderation. Amazing considering I thought /tv/ moderation was dogshit in current year.
im so tired of this retard appearing in my algoslop feed
>>107887479considering how often you've been banned for posting your shill op recently to the point you had to make it more subtle, im not surprised at your exasperation with the moderation.
I hope nicotroon’s psu blows out, catches fire, and the ensuing inferno engulfs xer and xis house :/
god all the motherboard/ram bundles have to use the ugliest mobos and that fucking RGB ram fucking kill me.
>>107887684>he missed the x870e apex bundlengmi
Any thoughts on pic related? Reviews seem decent for a $180 monitor. Anything better in the sub-$200 price range now or in the near future I should hold out for?
>>107887737never heard of KTC. what's with the faggy blinders?
Microcenter has a brand new old stock Ryzen 5800XT for $200. It comes with their wraith prism cooler. I can get a decent B550 MSI board for $100 flat because of bundle deal. What's the "best" GPU I can pair with this CPU? As in the best bang for buck? Looking to game at 1440p, modern titles, chasing >75fps
>>107887767>Microcentermight as well be China for most people.
>>107887778sucks to suck. Now what GPU am I pairing with this 5800XT?
>>107887734fuck!
be honest with be /g/, those 50 series Nvidia GPUs they're pushing, how bad are they for your avg gaymen PC? cause all i can afford right now might be the 5060 or even an old 30 series card.
>>107887799as long as it's not an 8GB card
>>107887482It's funny to see him fuck up stuff and get everything wrong info wise.
>>107887810>as long as it's not an 8GB cardlol. i might be priced out of them then. I saw some used 3080s, they have 10gb of ram on them lol.
I have a solid i9 10900 system. 64GB of DDR4. My GPU is ancient and while it's impressive this GTX 1070 just isn't working for my wants and needs. Prices on everything is sky high as i'm sure you all know. Is there a reason not to get an Intel Arc B580 12GB for $260?
>>107887837I got a RTX3080 for $200 earlier this year. I haven't ran into any problems with the 10GB of memory yet. But saying that I raw dog, and never use dlss or any fake frames generation.
>>107887859you sound like me, i'll keep it in mind, thanks. Now if only the M.2 1tb drives were so fucking expensive now!
>>107887859I played 250+ hours of Cypberpunk 2077 with DLSS and all settings on a mix of medium and high. I never had a single game crash or slow down to due RAM usage. I'm on 1440p. People are fear mongering about VRAM. I wouldn't recommend getting a sub 8GB GPU of course because modern games get more and more bloated, but people screeching about OMG YOU NEED 16GB MINIMUM, EVEN 24GB MAY NOT BE ENOUGH IN 3 YEARS REEE
>>107887840hardly anyone here has any experience with intel dgpus to give u a solid opinion but desu if that's all u need then go for it while it's cheap
I just boughted RX 9070XT and Ryzen 9 7950xrd. Wat nou?
>>107887925use it to shitpost on 4chan

>>107887935>>107887899>>107887840in these times, i say, go for it. how bad could it be?
>>107887124>SSD (Keep firmware updated)Just picked up a sata SSD. There should no concerns with updating the firmware right? Unlike anything else there would be huge concerns over mindlessly updating everything.
>>107887935techpowerup forums has people that got themand techno jesus is saying they aint bad as well (made a factory visit few days ago, they are having trouble convincing people to buy them since they got no reputation yet)if there was 24gb and over i would have gotten one12gb should be fine check those forums, you also must have rebar enabled or no go with arc.
>>107887925Spent all your free time watching tiktok and MAYBE play Bloons TD6 for an hour or two.
>>107888039>there was 24gbKind of an interesting thought if Intel was willing to allocate a bunch of chips to this I bet they would honestly fly off the shelves
