I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linus, is in fact, Linus Tech Tips, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Tech Tips + Linus. Linus is not a show unto himself, but rather another part of a fully functioning channel made useful by the video editors and vital production members working on each episode. There really is a Linus, and these people are watching him, but he is just a part of the video they watch.
Linus is the presenter: the person in the team that explains the tips on the video. The presenter is an essential part of a youtube channel, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete youtube channel. Linus is normally used in combination with the Tech Tips team: the whole system is basically Tech Tips with Linus added, or Tech Tips + Linus. All the so-called “Linus” videos are really videos of Tech Tips + Linus.
