But why would we live in dense large cities when there'll be no need for office space, hotels for business travelers and restaurants to please workers.Won't future just be villas and resorts of rich people being served by robots and leading hedonistic lifestyle after culling majority of humanity via a virus made by their god like AI. There won't be a need for pilots , engineers , programmers or soldiers when it can all be automated the future will probably just end up with us living hedonistic lifestyles while robots do work.

>>107896051we have no idea if AI is even possible, if it's achievable in our lifetime and if it is if it will be useful to us.and even if AI is achieved and can run robots that do everything the people who own it want the other people who dont own ai and robots still require goods and services which other people can provide.scientists will always be needed to advance the frontier of science, answer the many questions which we dont have answers for yet. ai could be a tool to help that but if there's no one operating the tool it wont give us anything useful or interesting.
