I'll check out XFCE, once they support Wayland. KDE Plasma could be so good, but they really need to work on point releases for the Steam Deck and Fedora at least.

I moved my taskbar to the middle, made my right side icons the same as I had on windows, changed some other things installed a nice icon pack and my workflow has continued almost as it did on Windows. I tried GNOME and other stuff but nothing allows for that level of customization and familiarity for a windows refugee. I guess if youre autistic you might be more into window tile managers or whatever but normal people prefer a standard desktop layout.
