I have never needed to carry much more than that ever. when I worked in IT I carried a metal clipboard that could hold papers and such. I used that to carry all my clients usernames and passwords. in other news I had ALL my clients usernames and passwords ALL OF THEM. tech support is so much easier that way.

>>107907258Half the reason I want a 3d printer is just to organize all my tools. I have leatherworking tools in a shoebox and watch tools in a basket right now. My actual tools for auto/home are in black tote buckets with lids on them. It's horrible.
>>107907271Gotta get some nice drawer systems/toolboxes man, they are the best. Also a nice cabinet or workbench does wonders as well. I have a cabinet full of all sorts of things like caulk, drywall tools, trim string + leaf bags, bigger power tools like saws, etc. It's crazy inside a bit (ADHD) but once it's closed it looks fanatastic then next to it I have a nice long workbench with all my battery chargers in the corner of it and power on the side. Then the slide drawers on it have my soldering tools, drillbits, tapes, etc. etc. Then I have another toolbox that's just straight regular tools. I keep my 3D printers on separate big tables that can handle them without shaking/vibrating. Nice organization really is the big game changer for everything. For my computers downstairs I have a nice big industrial rack with totes on it that hold like cables, and accessories all labeled etc. Then a book shelf full of like motherboards, hard drives, cpus, gpus, psus, etc. Then I got a like school locker with a wood rack from Ikea that I store all my music stuff at with peg board. It took me a really long time to get to this point (lived in my house for like 10 or 11 years now) but god damn does each little improvement for organization just make my monkey brain smile more. Even did my closet last weekend with a PAX wardrobe and I can't believe I went years without this type of shit.
