There are intel processors and telling people not buy a 5070 ti that is supposed to cost 750 for 1200 makes me the nicotroon?

Why'd you remove alder lake completely? Those are still good budget chips. Used 12700/f can be gotten for around the price if not cheaper than a 7500f, and it's not going to be as constrained since it's 8+4 instead of 6 cores.

anyone recommending the 5070ti at $1200 needs to be executed

You removed the microcode advice

I don't use Intel but don't fuck with the OP template because you have irrational hate boners
Help people regardless and inform them of better purchasing but don't remove shit if you are a petty little unemployed Canadian jeet

This new OP template was created to be community driven. If someone wants to bake with some small changes they can do so. You are welcome to put whatever you want back in the next thread. Don't try and split the general over some minor shit like this you autist

i looked at the actual numbers and they don't lie, $1200 is actually not bad for a 5070 ti.
Gold is 5x higher right now than it was in 2015, that means we've witnessed the dollar lose 80% of its value in the span of just 11 years.
The 5070 ti is actually more apt to be called slightly cut down 70-class silicon.
The GTX 970 launched with an MSRP of $329
Let's be super fair and say the 5070 ti is actually more comparable to a theoretical 10% cut-down version of the gtx 970.-10% price = $299.

Well, $299 * 5 is $1495. The 5070 ti can and probably will discover its proper value at around $1500 this year...

You guys need to be more rational and realize, things are never as bad as you think. I think removing the 5070 ti from the op was a mistake.

Is 9800x3d worth it if I play competitive multiplayer shooters at 1440p? Or can I get something cheaper like 9600x and still be fine? Goal is 360hz

Playing stocks with gpus which is a product you are meant to use and not just buying actual stocks is retarded.

What else do I have to do? Isn't there some settings in my bios or some shit? amd 9800x3d processor btw

any good airflow atx/matc WINDOWLESS cases you guys recommend? I went for a bit of a meme acoustically treated corsair a few years ago and I feel like my system is running warmer than it has to. Not worried about price, really, but it seems like everything is for showing off rgb.

All I have inside my case is brown fans, so I'd rather have a mesh panel or something.

Occasional reminder this board told me if I bought the Phantom Spirit it'd be unbearably loud and I should just get a Noctua but my case is silent even while gaming under load.

Noctua shills BTFO.
>>
guys i have an asus rog zephyrus g16 laptop with an rtx 4090 mobile, 32gb of some kind of ddr5 ram, and some intel core ai cpu.

it stutters playing everything. even terraria.

did my parts cook themselves? is it over??
>>
>>107977688
yes you bought yourself a piece of shit known as a "gaming laptop", these never end up well
>>
>>107977201
Fractal north mesh, the wooden front panel might match the noctua fans

god fuck this captcha
>>
>>107977623
Noctua, objectively, would've been quieter.
>>
>>107978152
0 difference, case is inaudible already
>>
>>107978199
Yes, I am not arguing that in your application there is zero practical difference.

Simply, we can't know the exact acoustics of your case/components/room or your ear's sensitivity, and objectively the Noctua fans DO run quieter.

I'm not saying you should've bought Noctua; simply, I can see how someone WOULD still buy Noctua depending on the situation.
>>
>>107978214
>I'm not saying you should've bought Noctua; simply, I can see how someone WOULD still buy Noctua depending on the situation.
Fair. I'm not even saying people shouldn't buy Noctua. I bought a Noctua fan for my rear case fan. I just found it absurd everyone told me the PS would be jet engine and I literally cannot hear any noise at all from my case sitting 3 feet from it even while gaming. In fact, the only noise I've heard from multiple gaming sessions so far is the front case fans spinning up during E33 but they died down after I capped the frame rate to 120. The Phantom Spirit is genuinely inaudible.

Part of this may be because my case has good sound isolation.
>>
I realized that I don't care about gaming on my PC. I only care about mogging other people's PC's.

I need to take a loan for a RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell. 10 grand for the best GPU in the world (beats the 5090 even in gaming)
