Why aren't you using PaleMoon anon?
>>
i'm using male poon
>>
>>107980280
Excellent choice to use with tor expert bundle. Zero pozz, comfy interface.
>>
>>107980280
Stopped using it when the developer blocked use of ad nauseam. It's fine for him to have an opinion on plugins but taking away the choice to install it was unacceptable.

>>107980330 I did that once, not sure if I'd do it again. It really makes you stand out.
>>
I am.
>>
>>107980368
I use it with a random user agent switcher and a bunch of other stuff. Doesn't really matter unless you're also using it for clearweb stuff.
>>
>>107980280
Is there any reason to use Palemoon these days?
>>
first off i';m never gouing to use windows 8 or 8.1
second.
I hate most browswers

I did like melon when it was useful for vista but now it isn't idk most browswers haver too many limitations and pay walls and if its free its usual janky and buggy as hell.

computing is literally hell.
>>
>>107980521
One of the super rare browsers out there that doesn't actually spy on you or call home. If you care about privacy and don't have the skills to unpozz a more modern, compatible alternative, PaleMoon is the way to go.
>>
>>107980521
Great interface, Flash support, contributing to browser engine diversity.
>>
>>107980280
>Dev constantly makes retarded changes to the browser
>Effectively killed the only old-school browser due to said changes
>Cannot install modern add-ons or plug-ins
>Trusting this fag not to add a backdoor out of spite or perversion
Didn't the Windows version also have malware iirc?
>>
>>107980625
Flash support? Really? Baked in?
>>
Browser engine too far behind. Pale Moon should rebase on Chromium.
>>
>>107980280
I tried it and some random sites I visited (just a hobby of surfing the internet) crashed unexpectedly
don't know the cause, i go back to brave or firefox then
>>
>>107980280
not available in most distros instantly.
seems same is true for other firefox forks(?)
>>
>>107980280
Not a furry
>>
>>107981557
No, you have to install the Flash plugin like ye olden days. It's the only browser that still lets you do that.
>>
>>107980280
Because it can't even post on 4chan lmao
>>
>>107980280
Because has the Basilisk navigator, is more good than the Pale. Please give me motives to use Pale Moon
>>
>>107980368
hey look he's using lambdaplusjs, my favorite altchan! I myself use it over i2p
>>
>>107980625
>Flash has been dead for 5 years, just like baby duck Windows 7 has been for 6 and you had 6 years to port Aero to Linux or Windows 11.
>A browser engine that is just Firefox 52 with a few cherry picks instead of an actual from the ground up engine is not going to help real diversity.
>>
>>107980280
Why should I use a browser the OP isn't even using. This image is from a thread that was posted four years ago. If you were actually using it, you would have posted a screenshot.
>>
>>107980280
Because I figured i could customize firefox(icecat) with css anyway
>>
>>107980330
How is that, again, anon? How do you set that up?
>>
>>107982164
what is Flash used for today?

Slow dogshit furfag browser
>>
>>107980280
Got tired of the browser locking up whenever dealing with YouTube or any google site, which I shouldn't be using but have to.

The browser would lock. Freeze entirely.
Got too sick of it, but would go back if it was fixed.

Switched browsers sometime before the pandemic. Really enjoyed using it. 2012/13 - 2018.

I use my own modified version of darkcold-gtk-theme, this is the original repo:
https://github.com/originalseed/darkcold
I just cloned it and started modifying it to my liking, here's my modified version:
https://files.catbox.moe/9nqlxc.tar
untar this into ~/.themes and then it should be available using in your theme selection app (lxappearance, etc..)

There's also a Qt version of the darkcold theme I use to make Qt apps fit in:
https://github.com/originalseed/kvdarkcold
I also modified this one by changing the font color to white.

As for Firefox(or any of its forks), you can make your custom CSS theme with this:
https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx
The userChrome.css and userContent.css are well documented and have plenty of comments inside, just open them and start modifying stuff to suit your need, though to make the tabs and buttons look like they did I had to learn and write some css to replace them with pixmaps. In case you want, here's my chrome folder:
https://files.catbox.moe/mi1e7y.tar
Beware newer versions of Firefox might have some things broken because mozilla always make some breaking CSS change with each update.
>>
>>107980280
Why would I use that piece of shit?
>>
>>107982841
>>Flash has been dead for 5 years
Irrelevant, and the rest of that line is even more so. I know nobody makes anything with Flash anymore, but that's not going to stop me from enjoying existing Flash software.
>>A browser engine that is just Firefox 52 with a few cherry picks instead of an actual from the ground up engine is not going to help real diversity.
Why not?
>>107984927
Pretty much.
>>
>>107980280
i used to use it but its js engine is too antiquated for most modern websites now
>>
>>107980280
Stop shilling your shit MoonChild. Buy an Ad.
>>
>>107985658
>you were told years ago to follow bad advice.
Yes and I didn't.

>Pale moon
Fat furry faggot in charge drove it into the ground and it will never recover.
>>
>>107980280
One simple reason: They blocked the adnauseum addon.
>>
>>107986906
