You still keep them just in case or they still hold sentimental value, right?
>>107980838Go walk in front of a train prajesh
No, I sold them because they have value and contributed to extra budget. Their value lives on in my new build
>>107980822I still have a Moto G3 that's near useless, can't bring myself to throw it away.
>>107980822Tyrone is so lucky
>>107984289You can always have it hard wired and set it up as a home camera. I'd just toss the battery and cover up any exposed ports just in case if you use it outside
>>107980822Yah I have my old Asus laptop from highschool.I could have gotten 100€ at least when I upgraded but I just couldn't give it away.
>>107980822Yeah, I did now its hard to find a SCSI card to read the old drive. Also the InWin q500 was a good case, I miss it.
>>107980822Not only did I trash my first PC along with its CRT monitor but I also dismantled the hard drive because I was 15 and thought that was the responsible thing to do. What a fucking moron I was but that's what happens when you get your advice from GameFAQs.
>>107980822my old computer was too slow so i burned it in a bonfire in my backyard
>>107980822Every time I see an image of pretty women I get very sad because I am a 22 year old KHHV with no female friends or acquaintances and I know that I will die without ever having sex.
>>107980822I found my first computer, from around twenty years ago.I powered it on just for fun. Then saw a little red switch on the back. Got curious. Flipped it, saw sparks and smoke, it didn't turn on again, threw it away.
>>107980822>>107980822>You still keep them just in case or they still hold sentimental valuei slowly salvaged parts until it was pointless keeping them. ship of theseus type shit.
>>107988643At least you're normal. That's a very normal response
>>107980822Depends on how much the sentimental value weighs against the resale value. My GTX 1080 could probably go for about $100 but I would never sell it. On the other hand, I just view my phone as an appliance and I usually just trade it in when it's a few years old. iPhones in particular hold their value very well.

>>107980822Why would I keep my old pcs? >Cost of space and moving it between new houses>In most cases, there's no going back: few distros are still x86, cert issues on old os/browsers, some things have no replacements: rubber bands on old floppy drive readers>What can you use that core duo for besides gaming?
>You didn't throw away your old computers, your old computers threw you away
>>107984305go jump in front of a train rapejeet
>>107980822Keep them? I'm still using them. 2x 2690v4s one with 64gb ddr4 quad memory and a 2060 super. The other with 32gb ddr4 and a titan xp. Plus two older laptops.
hoarding is bad for your health.
>>107980822No, I give them away for free to my cousins or I sell them for cheap to friends
>>107991513This is my hard drive.I hoard and hoard and hoard, then get depressed and just delete everything, only to resume hoarding a few months later.
>>107980822I dont throw away any electronicsalso good picture
>>107980822i threw away the macs from <2000
>>107992591my clitty is leaking
>>107980822I don't throw away anything electronic because i can use their parts for future repairs like this fuse i need for a fan that i got from a xmas decoration
>>107980822I threw away my old, big desktop cases but kept every other component in a storage case. Some stuff is still useful to have as a backup. My old GPU/R9 380 can still be used in my current PC, resale value is pretty low for it anyway.
>>107980822Asa's body is semen demon tier.
>>107980822I can't be arsed to sell off or throw away my parents considering the mileage they get.>>107990195Literally the same color as >>107992591

>>107994079Makima wouldn't touch a black man, she only loves autistic men and dogs.Yoru only likes 10 year old white boys.
>>107980822nope still have my old gaming PC and have a brand new 580 in its box.
>>107994130I appreciate your naiveness
>>107980822I sold / gave away a bunch of older stuff (or it broke) from when I was younger, mostly because I used the money I got for selling my old stuff to finance my upgrades back then. Got a decent career going since then and I've kept components since. Kind of wish I kept more stuff, but I'm still glad some pieces survived, like the last CRT monitor we used on the family computer back then and a bunch of CRT TVs. I actually use them if I play older PC games or emulate.
>>107993160I bough a R9 380 recently to use for emulation, it's one of the fastest cards with a real VGA output which can be used for all the native video modes old consoles ran at, so it can be hooked up to a TV pretty easily and you can play all those games on their intended display.
