When did this email app become so fucking garbage? Sorting is almost completely automated by the algorithm so its not clear why some things are sent to your inbox and some to promotions. Sorting doesn't really work anymore either. Even my Outlook account I use for work gives me more options and control.

The one thing I do like about gmail is that I get ZERO spam even though my account is super old and is tied to my paypal, which means its on all sorts of spam lists.. Meanwhile my Outlook account which i have NEVER used gets a shit ton of email daily, probably because it's an (name)@outlook.com since I signed up when it first opened.
