What feel?
>oh I hate smartphones, gonna use a dumbphone because physical buttons and simplicity ooooooohhhh
They suck. Nothing compares to the actual old phones. My Sony Ericsson (pic) was PEAK.
Everything made today is electronic waste outside of the smartphone jungle.
Want a simple phone? Buy a XiaomiRedmi A5 3/64GB or budget Motorola. They are around 100-150 bucks and work just fine.

>Doro phones are
a leading brand of mobile phones designed specifically for seniors

By seniors they mean retards, right?
My dad had no problem switching to Android in his 60's and using the full power of it.

Duoqin F22 if you care about the ability to access the web. Otherwise go to hmd.com and pick what you like from their feature phones.

All modern button phones suck ass... Sad to day. I sell phones for a living and have tried pretty much all of them. Low quality garbage made for the nostalgia/seniors/retard crowd.
Horrible battery life, horrible quality, overpriced and shit buttons. Basically everything you don't want in a dumb-phone.

Makes sense.
Can the whole modernist Bauhausian Judeo-faggotry design end already? I want my non-hostile Y2K devices but designed by sane talented people with souls

did a volunteer thing in the dominican republic circa 2015 or 16 and they all had these little soap bar alcatels. nobody ever texted and the country ran on 30 second phone calls. it was surprisingly comfy, minus going to little booth huts to reup the phone on 'minutos'

I will shill this again because it is ironically good and ironically saved me from my doomscrolling addiction. This costs 50$ and the only things it's missing are callerID and hotspot.

It has a headphone jack, removable battery, and USB-C, and it supports 4G.

Nokia 3310 3G (still usable in Canada)
Nokia 225 4G (supports VoLTE)

anything running kaios or android sucks. Kyocera DuraXE isn't bad, it's just giant.

the two nokias above are comfy. simple but modern. they are fantastic.

anyone complaining about modern dumbphones is a retard. yeah the peak was late 2000's. guess what, it's over. deal with it. people bitch and complain about quality and being overpriced, yet completely miss the point of the phone. you either want a simple phone or you don't. either go doomscroll on your slop machine or do something different and deal with the options out there. life is way better with a dumbphone. waiting for the perfect one is retarded. just do it.

One critical thing these phones lack is navigation/gps, if you're someone who travels around a lot. Camera doesn't really matter since you can bring a seperate camera for your photography needs.

this is ultimately what i found while considering a dumb phone.

i deleted most shit, set "parental" controls and time limits, gave my roommate the parental code if i need something overruled, and now my phone is basically an mp3 player and gps device.

Where exactly in DR you were in that time? sure as hell it was probably a god forsaken place, since you were in a "voluntering" thing, because even by 2011-2012 most people i know had their own smartphone with whatsapp and everything, and i don't live presicely in a very modernized town whatsoever.

Rural area near San Juan Maguana, in the mountains. Maybe a mix of rural cell service not being any good yet, or cost of smart phones, but most people had the soap bars. There were some people I interacted with who had smartphones but I think I remember them not being able to do much without literal wifi.

That area had power only sometimes, like it would shut off throughout the day then turn back on at night. Most of the houses had to get water deliveries, either because they didn't have plumbing or the water didn't run all the time like the power.

Actually overall the rural people, and San Juan, were pretty nice. I remember seeing the Santo Domingo slums after flying in and feeling pretty scared, but it ended up being perfectly chill out in the hills.

For me it's the Nokia C3-00. It's the peak of mobile phones. Nothing better came before or after it.

I hate how all discussion revolving dumbphones seems to be the same consumerist optimization talk over
>I want a dumbphone, but I NEED USB-C/hotspot/navigation/QR scanner/whatsapp/insert function, any recs?
You can get a dumbphone that supports 4g for <30 bucks. The threshold to try it out and figuring out what features you can and can’t live without is incredibly low, and you’ll likely discover that you can get around with a whole lot less than you’d think ex ante.

But it's in a local market. I searched on internet and the price's 49$
