I have to manage a PC at work that runs Ubuntu 22.04 and has an NVIDIA GPU and I fucking hate it. NVIDIA drivers always fall over randomly, and it was a pain to even get it booting while displaying all three monitors.

The last 25 years the only good work that has been done has been the kernel and now recently flatpak/KDE apps like krita(which is 20+ years old too).

Everything has been accelerated right now because of valve pushing linux development drivers, wayland and KDE desktop funding. Its not that wayland is bad, just never had enough devs and money.

Linux was a fucking mess before flatpak too because as a company or developer where the fuck are you going to package your software? On ubuntu?
