That's not nearly as bad as the phenomenon where 2/3rds of its message is repeating its previous message as if you just said the entire conversation history. GPT-2 did better than that. Gemini Pro 3 has had perhaps the biggest post-benchmark publication lobotomy we've yet seen in LLMs.

i've noticed gemini hyperfixates on some keywords and you never really need to mention them. if you change context from like cooking to programming and then to music it will mix in cooking terms into music etc.
