you need to configure the .viebrc file to add wrap:
set mintabwidth=300
set taboverflow=wrap
>>
>>108022131
firefox used to have this long ago and broke it without good reason. that's when i quit firefox. also, look into vivaldi multilevel tabs and tab stacks, much better.
>>
>>108022131
horizontal tabs are retarded and stacked tabs are inbred retarded

Didn't Opera pre-Chromecucking have this?
>>
Sidebery is much better it's only held back by Firefox's shitty default shortcuts overlapping with what you want.

Browsers are now window managers?
>>
>>108022131
Not enough vertical space since 16:9 took over. It's a good idea, looks like 90s browsers with bookmarks and toolbars.
I hate widescreen so much.

Vieb has been getting better, and last time I checked it out, I was about to unironically switch from ungoogled.
>>
>>108022131
You can already do this in firefox via css

You'd waste less space by using vertical tabs, which in themselves are already waste of space.
>>
>>108025526
I like to conserve space vy using fake-fullscreen in a twm along with vimium c.
>>
or just use vertical tabs

Vivaldi Browser lets you do basically whatever you want with tabs.
>>
>>108022131
a better idea is to simply save sites you want to revisit but aren't sure when you'll go back. could call them favourites or bookmarks.
>>
Tabs are bloat

I do this in notepad++ and it made me open more tabs that I now always ignore.

>>108026970
And anyway it's more preferable on a 16:9 display to move as much control on the sides and give you the most real estate in the height, to see and interract with elements, text etc.
It sucks that many websites are designed around expecting more wide real estate and they break but I cannot go back to tabs above, overall it's much better.
>>
>>108022131
shit idea, who wants less vertical space?

I can't even be sure which are tabs there. Shouldn't a tab appear as a tab?
