Why is /g/ like this? Why don’t you guys ever look for balance?
>>108023263My parents gave me their old couch and it's far more comfortable than any bed I've ever lied on. If it wasn't so cheap and rickety, I would just throw out my old prison-tier IKEA bed frame and miserable innerspring mattress and sleep on it instead.
>>108023263There's not much to balance for a /g/ oriented NEET. You have your tech shit and then your bed.
>>108023263>Why don’t you guys ever look for balance?Because balance would mean sacrificing things I care about (PC performance/hardware), OR waste a fuck ton of money on overpriced furniture I don't give a fuck about. So instead I have a $120 ikea desk from 20 years ago paired with ~$6,000 worth of computer hardware.
>>108023263My bed can't generate ai images
>>108023263This is better than an air mattress just drill anchor hooks into your studs.
>>108023263yeah true several hundred or more on a chair is worth your spine
>>108023263i lived like that in my 20's.now i have a house, a mortgage, and a living room with no couch or chair just a 72 inch tv that i don't use.it doesn't get any better.
>>108023263Just spend the minimal amount per time that is adequate for your needs. If a $20 air mattress is adequate for your sleep needs, but your computer needs require a $5000 computer, so be it.
>>108023339this.
That's me. Considering the price hike of all the RAM etc. I have a folding out chair/bed tho and a big screen. This is balance. Perfect even. Let me guess, you need more.
>>108023263sleeping on the floor is good for your back. Also you can fold it and then use the area to exercise.
>>108023380>it doesn't get any better.grim
>>108023458You really think if you bought a big ass house you wouldnt be in the one room on your computer every day?
>>108023458it's not a bad thing, just don't think that growing up is the solution to your current problems. things just change and become easier in a sense.
None of my family knows this, but I prefer sleeping on the couch. I only sleep in my bed when I have them over as guests.
>>108023263>no speakersunreal.
>>108023263Do they look rich enough for balance?
>>108023598headphones if you don't live alone
>>108023263>communist mindsetkek
>>108023639stfu fag. go tiptoe around the kitchen at 2AM so you dont wake up mom while you make a pizza
>>108023263>you guysKill yourself fag
Why put money I spend a third of my life in instead of what I pour 2/3 of my life into
>>108023993less than 1/3 if you consider consciousness
>>108023639I live alone and I still use headphones for most things. The most disappointing part of building and entire 7.2 home theater is realizing that a decent $200 headphone provides you with a better audio experience.only real downside of headphones is using those in bed
My dresser cost more than my pc
>>108024459>>108024459>a decent $200 headphone provides you with a better audio experience.not even remotely true
I originally bought a japanese futon and tatami out of necessity. After years of using it on the floor my back pain is gone. I can fold it all up and store it, which is great because my current room is small. It all costs less than $300 even after considering the sheets and pillow. I even had to replace the futon last year due to my cats destroying it. It cost less than $100 after tax. I was able to upgrade my system due to my lifestyle cost savings, now the only thing I could maybe need is a GPU upgrade in a few years.
>>108024491nah he's right lmao. cope.
>>108024532headphones have no soundstage or imaging and you don't feel any of the sound. simple as.
>>108023401>>108023339>t. never heard of dreams and "nocturnal emissions"
>>108023263I didn't spend $5000 on my computer because I'm not retarded.
>>108023263i own a tempurpedic hybrid mattress and an adjustable bed frame. who's "we"?
>>108023263> $250 monitors> $5000 pcngmi
>>108023263I have balance. My desktop area is fully visible from my giant L-shaped couch and my pc is also connected to my tv which in itself is visible from my bed (I live in a studio) so my entire apartment is maximized for comfort and seating options.
>>108023544but think of all the extra space anon has for all those activities
>>108024729you gotta stop bustin for like two weeks before you're having dreams like that.it's not worth it for 1 nut and you wake up with cold sticky underwear and shame.
>>108023544I can't speak for everyone, but having my own house meant I was able to truly spread out and have proper room for everything I want. Before, when everything needed to be cramped into one tiny room, it was uncomfy as hell. I never used loudspeakers because it wasn't my house. All my video game stuff had to be relegated to a space in the closet. There was no room for anything. Now I have a dedicated hifi setup and proper shelves for my records/CDs in the living room. I have a dedicated home office room where my desk is set up. I have a dedicated retro game room with all my old consoles, games, and CRTs. I have a dedicated art room where I like to paint (as well as other stuff like soldering and other handiwork stuff). And I have a garage gym with squat rack, barbell and plates, strongman-style sandbags, pullup bar and gymastic rings, etc. Life is good, fren
>>108025603>i got a big house and continued to be a manchild
>>108025553>it's not worth it for 1 nut and you wake up with cold sticky underwear and shame.Underwear? You don't sleep naked?>shamelol why tho
>>108025615Yes.
>>108023263wtf. I have those drawers. Exactly the same colours.
>>108023263Sell the chairsell the deskMove the bed in the corner of the wallSit on the bedTurn the PC side waysPut monitor on PCKeyboard and mouse on your lap/bed side
>>108024520Do you live in an apartment? How do you air out your futon?
>>108024520 what's the actual purpose of the tatami mats? They just seem like an unnecessary meme
>300€ surplus thinkpad craptop>2k€ tower pc>1k€ bedA king size with a big mattress is heavenly
>>108023560>None of my family knows this, but I prefer sleeping on the couchNothing weird about that. When I first moved into my own apartment I bought a bed (fairly nice one, correct hardness and everything) but I also bought a huge couch and I slept on the couch 9/10 nights simple because it was more comfortable. When I moved apartments (to where I live now) I just got rid of the bed. 100% couch sleeper now.
>>108025894And before the "erm achtually" tards come knocking, it's been 15+ years on the couch now. I'm almost 40. No back issues.
>>108024459$200 speakers mog $200 headphones so much it's not even funny. Surround is a meme, stereo is better. Even if you think a real center channel is better than phantom center - it really isn't, it always disappoints.
>>108024520I own a massive home and have a lot of money, I'm also in great shape. I can't relate to your faggy poor urban problems.
>>108025615>you can't just get things you enjoy because.... because you can't, okay???I will never understand poorfag mentality.
>>108025908at least he's not a piece of shit, unlike you.
>>108025935Whatever, you have a poor person mindset. I would hire you if you cleaned up your attitude
>>108023380this is what no pussy does to a mf
>>108023544I'd be in a workshop in the basement or garage building shit
>>108023263I've got a queen sized bed that I bought 10+ years ago for 750 euro. Only thing out of balance is my 150 euro desk.
>>108025906>Surround is a meme, stereo is betterI bet you think no movies made after y2k have decent levels too
>>108023263>home: 600k>car: 30k >boomers "WHY DID YOU SPEND 5K ON A PC THIS IS WHY YOU CANT AFFORD A HOME AND A CAR"
>>108023263Autism
>>108023263My screens are second hand. My PC is self build, my chair is used and my sofa, where I sleep on, is from my mom. What else?
>>108027200What the fuck is a movie.
>>108028494I also sleep in your mums bed
>>108028519Good. It is a nice bed.
>>1080232632k on my whole pc setup, ~$400 on my chair. And my bed I got from my parents some time in my teens I think.
>>108028479Se if you saved up 5k bucks a year for another 119 years you could afford a house but you just felt entitled to spend the money on stupid stuff like computers and avocado toasts
>>108023263>$250 monitorsEw... If I count my projector, there is $4,700 across six displays that I can see right now.
