AI borrowing is skyrocketing.

its in line with economists' projections
yesterday we had a mildly interesting thread about a youtube economist going into the weeds of things, finance-wise
this was one of his key objections-
the projected datacenters didnt even have financement yet

i suppose they were waiting for investors to contribute

on another note-

good question
depends on palantir and how much compute do they need for their governance tech projects
depends on the consumergroids, and the adoption rate of cloud computing
and if the datacenters are underutilized you can be sure cloud computing will become very cheap very quickly

manufacturers will push back against lowering prices
so they can maintain artificially inflated prices for a while
now- chyna.
they can sell cheap shit, but if theres 300% tariffs imposed onto it, then it wont be as cheap anymore

if tariffs are in place consumers will just not have the choice but buy at overinflated prices
and then either they dont buy and use cloud compute - producers win
or they buy at overinflated prices - and producers win anyways

best case, realistic scenario- no traiffs, producers have to compete with chinks, price discovery kicks in, prices go down to 200-150% depending on consumergroids' eagerness to upgrood

theres also the possibility that taxpayer funds will be channeled into the bubble and usa will become a turboshithole even more supercharged as it already is

>>
>>108054064
from the looks of it, bonds.
thats what issuing debt usually means

boiled down to essentials, it looks like this:
they make a paper with a promise:
>we'll pay you back what you gave us after one year, with 5% extra
then they sell said paper. and after one year theyre supposed to pay back the worth of the paper + said 5% extra

basically an iou, but with a fancy name
>>

you faggots STILL haven't read the EOs where they made it the law of the land to fund this shit with US tax payer money have you?

That's how the debt machine works. Fed money printer go brrr and treasury gets robbed. The millions of working Americans paying taxes give the Government debt free loan.

Executive orders aren't laws, they're administrative directives. They can be challenged in court, overridden by Congress, or simply cancelled when there's a change in administration. They can even be changed by the president who issued them if he has a mood swing.

>>108054364
They are law. You're operating under the assumption that the three branches of Government are still working as intended. They're building this shit out and the last two presidents have passed multiple EOs that have stacked on top of each other to push the same agenda.

Why even bother with executive orders if we're living in the dictatorship you're fantasizing about? Your post is a conversation terminator. You've erected a fantasy that leaves no room for discussion because everything is proof of your conspiracy being correct. Anything that refutes it is by definition wrong because you are the single source of truth. Why do you even bother with discourse when you know everything and reality conforms to your head canon? Seriously, what do you expect to get out of this conversation? If you're so sure the world is under the control system you have in your head, why are you here trying to get external validation? Sounds like you know you're full of shit and are so insecure about it, your only goal is to hopefully find someone, anyone, who agrees with you on something, so you don't feel like the complete loser you know yourself to be.

Here is a helpful propaganda .gov website that links to most of the EOs.

https://www.ai.gov/

Have fun wading through the legalese because they all reference other EOs. Many signed by Biden. Where funding as allocated for stuff like the massive fiber and cell tower build outs starting in 2020 that pushed more broadband into rural areas. Which was required for stuff they're deploying now like flok cameras and license plate readers.

Don't forget about the massive push by "private companies" like Wal-Mart. Where you can no longer go into the store without being analyzed the entire time by AI powered software and having your face constantly scanned at the self checkout lines. Which are the only lines you can use because they never have any staff at the 30+ old school check out lines.

I also encourage you to watch the richfags faggy meetings. Like the recent WEF conference where they talk openly about working in lock step with each other and repeat the "by 2030" goal over and over again. They've been repeating 2030 as their goal for the last 20 years or so that I've been paying attention. All the while we've had retards like the ones above claiming anyone that notice what's happening is crazy and believes in lizard people.

There is still a chance to revolt against this stuff but the window of time is closing fast.

What’s even the use case for AI? To produce dogshit images made from recycled artwork? So Indians can make slop videos to trick boomers with? How many times do we have to tell you it's for the security state. That's why it was developed. That's why it's being widely deployed.

The entire point of it is to grep through the vast amounts of data you've posted over the years because you got trained to shit out every little thought you have and broadcast it for the world to see. They're using it to grep through that and all the data they're harvesting from security cameras and all the open microphones they've tricked normalfags into buying and carrying with them (and installing into their homes).

Hope you haven't committed any wrong-think.

Palantir is the end goal, once all of these companies go bust, they aren't going to crypto or to equity. instead, the US Government will bail it out (You voted for this) and get all those datacenters for itself. Then the real fun begins as we start living in the pre-crime era where all of the data all of these smart devices have been gathering on us begin to be trained on AI to predict our entire criminal score. Then we start living in the end times where we get Chinese social credit on steroids, cleverly hidden by "remember, it's a private company and can do whatever it wants even if we give it government data and use it for government police action". You'll wish you moved to North Korea, then.
>>
>>108054064
Private credit
Basically they fill the niche of loans that are too risky for traditional banks, but are too big in scale to be handled by minor high risk creditors.
Reminder those loans are only too risky for traditional banking because they trip red flags that were setup in the aftermath of 2008. Surely that’s not foreshadowing anything.

>>108056668
The US tax payers are already funding all these "private company" datacenters they're building. In 2020 they made a new policy to take tax payer money to build out fiber and high speed wireless in rural areas. That's why all the new cell towers and fiber drops went up nationwide in early part of 2020 into 2021. They extended that to fund the data centers the first day of Trump's second term.

The only reason I have fiber internet in the middle of fucking nowhere is because they needed even the people in the sticks to have access so they could quickly gather data from shit like ring and flok cameras. Meanwhile, Palantir "went public" and its stock has been going to the moon since then despite the fact that the CIA founded company had been operating for years before that without being listed on the stock market.

They're robbing the treasury and normalfags are paying for their own enslavement through taxes. It's really an amazing scam of a system when you step back and look at how it's being operated. Don't even get me started on "bail-ins".

>>108056742
All these "private" tech companies have always been glow nigger creations anon. They use the "private company" shield so they don't have to follow the law. If a "private company" "owns" something then you don't have to follow those pesky rights the citizens are supposed to have like "free speech".

Even the term "citizen" doesn't mean what you think it does. Considering it didn't exist before the end of the US Civil War and the amendment that created the concept of "US Citizen" didn't free the slaves. Instead it made everyone a slave.

The "gig economy" companies, Uber, DoorDash, Lyft, Airbnb, accumulated billions in debt, too, before turning a profit. Uber, the outlier, went as high as 30B. Ok, but the AI sector is much bigger then anything else, only comparable in scale to big pharma. If Uber goes bust 30 billion get lost, if AI goes bust 10 trillion go bust. This is much worse then the com bubble.

I think they're hoping they can bullshit investors long enough to come up with a way to make this all profitable
probably also hoping to get government bailouts if it doesn't pan out, they think they are too big to fail because their failure would be too catastrophic for the economy
>>
>>108058064
Before LLMs became a big thing OpenAIs official plan to profitability was to make superhuman AI, and ask it how to make profit, and until they reach this Hichikers guide joke they will just coast off of investors

chikkens, eggs - there isn't power availability to operate even a quarter of the 'proposed' datacenters in the first place and no-one wants electricity wars. US is (genuinely and honestly) not competing with the chinks when it comes to spare electrical generation capacity for nonsense like crypto or cat video production. US *could have* chosen a generation specialty and went to town, nuclear, solar, whatever. It did none of that and sorting these basic requirements out would take decades, assuming anyone even possessed the political will to start.

All I'm saying is that it needs to get bigger to become a real problem. I don't think we are there yet. Also you are comparing a company to an entire "field". I'm sure that if the gig economy went bust for some reason (can't think of any), it would be pure pain for the private sector.

He's right.

I can """""""""""""""""""""""commit"""""""""""""""""""""""""" to learning to fly by grabbing my bootstraps and yanking on them. That doesn't mean it's realistic for me to do it or that it's possible for me to try.

>Let's just clear out 30 years of built up technical debt on the power grid, lol let's just stand up and shit out 50 nuclear reactors that take 10 years to build, each. Surely we can do that in four years.
lol you have no idea what you're talking about, but i guess you're only slightly less retarded than the private investors who not only believe they can do that, but have put money on the line that they will be able to do that before going bankrupt and without Uncle Sam footing the bill and raising taxes 200%.

lol this
my favorite part was when it was asked at an investor money about who was going to pay for it, and all of them pointed the finger at America while they were in the midst of discussing why they couldn't dump another $200 billion to Ukraine without significantly raising taxes, meanwhile it's going to take $5 trillion to get even half of the target they set for 2030

NTA you're a brownie thinking uncle sam is going to foot the bill for a $5 trillion electrical upgrade because the techlords demand it.

uncle sam believes this tech ensures a century of dominance - uncle sam will cough up if he needs to

Dude just shoot yourself if you're going to cope this hard, you were wrong and fell for google and amazon's propaganda that they're totally going to have their targets for their investors. You were gullible and didn't look up how long it takes to get this power, we get it, you're blinded by promises of 'da future' because this is the first time you've had big boys lie to you. it'll happen again, take this as a learning experience.
>>
>>108058493
>chairman
lel - I'm hardly numbahwun fan of the yellow perils approach to most things, but, you can't argue - the chinks do do infrastructure. Western World infrastructure, its a bit the same problem as maybe Linux has. All the main / basic challenges got solved long ago, and people are less motivated to incremental improvements, crossing the t's and dotting the i's and unfuxoring shit in general.. Big New Projects is great however, everyone on board for them.
>>108058632
>committed to
what, like TSMC and Samsung (and whoever the fuck else) 'committed to' building new fabs in US? Hows that going then?
>110GW of additional power in the us by 2030
>By 2033 [OpenAI] internal memos have suggested a goal of 250 gigawatts (GW) of total computing capacity..
so like the theoretical pinkie promise 'we'll *try and* build..' number for the entire industry doesn't match HALF the stated requirements for ONE FUCKING COMPANY?
You tell me, exactly who is fucking kidding who here?
>>
>>108058909
>the wait times are up because they're backordered midwit lol
Which means they're not making their targets by 2030.
Again, take this as a learning experience, you were wrong. You didn't look this up. You fell for it again, and there is no reward.
>>
>>108058884
>i'm not a burger - but burgers and arabs will pay up
Then why are you commenting on a country you don't even have the technical literacy to research and see they were lying to you?

Focus on your own country and practical problems applicable to you like which lump of cow shit tastes the best with gutter oil. $5 trillion or $200 billion are meaningless numbers to you because you don't even make ¢20 a month. SYBAU
>>
>>108058914
>Hows that going then?
it's going great actually lol

>sam's estimates
lol third party estimates see +50GW demand by 2030 so the 110+ commitment is an overbuild
150+ demand is 2035 projections.
maybe sam is dreaming about datacenters in the jeddah

>>108058929

>I feel like the whole shitstorm with ICE is just a distraction from this.
It is but it serves a greater purpose: normalizing the feds being able to come into any town and arrest people. They already gave ICE the ability to enter any home without a search warrant. It's over.

>>108058222
>sorting these basic requirements out would take decades
They can build nuclear power plants very quickly without having to follow Government regulations and not connecting them to the grid.
>>108058893
>It takes seven years to build a gas-fired plant if they started tomorrow.
It doesn't.
>but I have this link
Your link is bullshit. My family has worked in power plants all their lives. It takes 6 months to build turbines and get whatever you want to use for boiling water set-up. When the Government is building them for themselves things move along very very quickly.

They'll have no problem putting small reactors onsite for these datacenters the Government is building out. They've already got several that have been operating for years for the NSA in various locations all over the country. This isn't anything new. You just don't know about it because you weren't in the know.

It's for the security state and it's going to be up and running in the next couple of years.

Its very much like the dotcom bubble but the internet did not stop progressing and became useful to everybody after the bubble burst. AI is on a similar path. Lot of bullshit right now like web 1.0 but whatever emerges out of that will be more stable and more useful

Nigger the feds have the now have the right to enter your home at any time without a warrant. Local law enforcement can't do anything about it. They've had warrantless wiretapping for over 25 years now. They've been openly mocking the population while telling everyone that would listen how they're going to make America an open air prison for the last 15 years. Trump is building a "Golden Dome". You're not required to have a federal ID to drive a car or simply live within the country without starving to death. The big tech companies are all admitted Government front companies. Everything is behind cloudflare now on the web so they can snoop upon all data going back and forth. We're spied on at the isp level. They just finished building out a massive spying network and called them 5G cell towers. The population is so mind raped by propaganda they're divided and fighting over shit like trannys teaching school children instead of the Government fucking them over.

All the while dumb fucking faggots like you will call anyone a glow nigger that points it out or tries to organize to do something about it. Like marching together with firearms.

Go fuck yourself.
>>
>>108059079
>You're not required to have a federal ID
*now

I haven't even gotten into the "schizo shit". Like Trump seizing control of a certain South American country while wanting to lay claim to Greenland. Which is exactly what the 10-kingdoms plan showed in the 1970s on the map that was released. NA was everything from the country we just seized in South America up to Greenland and included Canada.

We just lived through a massive mRNA experiment and now at least half of the population has modified DNA. All for the common cold. The price of food has more than doubled in the last year.

I could go on and on. Everything is happening right on schedule for 2030. We'll be living in the open air prison with nothing to eat but Government rations and you'll still be accusing everyone that points at the fence as being a "doomer".

I hate you dumb fucks so God damn much.
