i made a lora for each klein-9b-base/z-base/chroma, using same dataset and mostly the same settings on the lora, checked that each worked etc.
then set up my main workflow and switched between the three
winner: klein-9b-base
best at styles, flexibility (of the lora), and prompt adherence
z-base is great at realism but kinds farts on flexibility and some prompts
chroma is great at prompt adherence and flexibility, but ends up looking rough around the edges and it farts on some prompts (and still gets bad anatomy more often than not)

for quick and easy - z-base, klein
for experimenting - chroma, klein
for nsfw - chroma wins only because it's not cucked
overall tho, klein wins because it just werks
speed wise (on base models only) - zbase > klein > chroma
with speed loras or distilled, it's neck and neck on all 3

the problem isnt the instances, it's the python venv that each needs, taht's what takes up room since each venv downloads torch and cuda stuff (7-10GB for each venv)
best thing is to have your models in one folder, and set paths/links to tthose folders for each instance/venv that way you dont also download the models over and over
